I have fine out strength work with heavy weapons because I used my white bench or do anything to increase my strength I do way more damage with my mini gun same with my water and hunger is full to I just want let you know

I’ve been running this for 2 years now built it myself after watching a bunch of videos and just put something together. But i prefer the auto axe dps is nuts

I followed your original melee build almost exactly and have had a lot of fun with it. One weapon I picked up while back was a vampires ripper with +1 strength. W ith hack and slash, exploding palm, grenadier and demolition expert, mobs don't stand a chance. With the rippers very fast attack speed, hack and slash/exploding palm proc ALL. THE. TIME. The vampires effect keeps me alive while bloodied. And visually, to players around me, it looks like a bunch of grenades going off every time the legendary perks proc. The ripper is not a min/max weapon, but it is so much fun to have for the rapid proc of the explosives effect and watch it obliterate mobs in fast order (radiation rumble, earle, queen, etc.).

Yoo my pick for build revisit. Lets go!!

I was looking for an unarmed build as a new player since I've loved mele in fallout games, I rolles my deathclas gauntlet to decide if I commited or not and got the bloodied, +40 swing Speed and +1 strenght. For now I'm still running full health since I'm still lvl 61, but slowly i'll be switching. Thanks for the Amazing guide!

Thank you! Look on my channel for the 1.0 version. First iteration had no legendary perk cards so use that as a baseline

Something I started doing recently that seems to be working pretty well is running rank 2 of suppressor instead of rank 3. This brings my charisma to 6, meaning I can share the rank 2 perk. Suppressor stacks up to 40% just like tenderizer so sharing rank 2 or 3 let's you get the full stack with only 1 other teammate shooting the same target.

What all are you using please to show damage or effects? Looks like an app or something?

Ive been testing this build a lot the past few days, and what are you thoughts on using concentrated fire? The headshot crit in vats with melee is a must when trying to put out dps and i find myself leaving vats to do more dmg a lot more without concentrated fire. Thoughts on this my friend?

Quick question, doesnt heard mentality only work when you are in close proximity? Also so happy you are back tyr!!!!

Yeah I’d just pick up a legendary special card honestly. Or maybe retribution if you can get into the habit of blocking it’s actually not a bad perk

Very good build Tyr, but I have a question. Is the cavalier/ sentinel effects on your builds a huge game changer? Because I never got a full set of that armor and I think I prefer WWR on the third stard since that is really a huge changer also.

Believe me it is night and day difference. Especially sentinel. Survivability through the roof. Must have for combat orientated builds… obviously if you’re more casual and want QOL then WWR is probs the way to go for maybe a heavy gunner… however melee builds don’t need WWR since we have martial artist perk.

With this updated version of this build would you still be able to use enforcer as a alternative perk

Hey yo! You inspired me to go after a shotgun build several years ago, and my main character is now a shotgunner that EASILY solos Earle, Queen, Eviction Notice, Invaders From Beyond, you name it. A year or so ago I decided to make an unarmed/melee build second character, and it's neat to see your build here is very similar to what I ended up with. The main difference is I don't like playing melee in VATS so I don't have any of the VATS-related perks. And I decided to go with Thorn armor - it has less resistance but I don't really notice the difference with all the defensive perks. But I do notice when small enemies just die when they attack me, leaving me free to focus on bigger enemies or event objectives. Is the weighted mod on one arm and the brawling mod on the other arm really better than two brawling mods? I've never considered that. I use brawling on both. I figured Incisor alone, plus the high damage numbers, would be enough to make armor penetration not an issue. I'll have to try that out.

What armour would you say is best. SS, thorn or civil engineer?

Brotherhood recon armor can only be purchased with bullion from Minerva who only has it a handful of times a year. Anyone's best bet to get the recon armor is to just do Daily Ops everyday. I've been playing since the beginning of January and just got the helmet for it last night to finish out the set, so it can take a number of months or longer if you don't get lucky

So something to think about, even if you are not optimizing for damage (no food, > 20% hp etc) due to strength (+10% dmg per stat) you will be sitting at a minimum of +500% damage. What this means is that whenever you see a non multiplying perk card (most of them) you need to think of that as (+% dmg) / 6. So perks like bloody mess are adding an effective 2.5% dmg to you build (or worse the more you have optimized), so consider taking perks besides iron fist and bloody mess if you have better utility for those perk slots. I do not even run a bloodied weapon as often anymore as the + ~80% dmg is not worth it when its often reduced to an effective increase of < 10 %. Melle advice only, ranged obviously does not have the massive stat modifier

Question. With being low health does unstable isotope and electrically charged ever do too much damage to you or is it so negligible that vampire heals it back? And do you get rad damage from isotope to where you eventually have to take a rad away to combat the rads from it?

When unstable isotope procs it will heal us, so no worries there, electrically charged deals a small amount of damage back to us so it’s not much of an issue, I use both and always have and never had a problem with them. The rads is minimal so no need to micromanage your rad level either.

I have points in Int rather than End for leveling purposes and a sneak variation of agility

You can make a sneak Bleed build with thorn armor and the bladed default mod on the gauntlet

Wish we could slot in different legendary perks for each different saved perks build.

I think my build is based off the OG one you put out a while back

My problem with this build, and like all other non-PA builds, is the lack of carryweight. Eventho i keep my consumes to a minimal in my bags, i find myself often encumbered . Also i switched Ricochet for Good with Salt.

This build has the most carry weight, around 500. You have the most leighway with this play style … it’s all up to you to do proper inventory management

I’d recommend secret service, helps keep you alive, and radiation resistance is massively helpful Thorns extra damage isn’t going to be too useful in all honesty
