@@TYRYT Awesome video man, I do have a question. You took bandolier.... Why carry around so many different types of guns? Why not just stick to all energy weapons and use the two points in strength on another perk card or take 2 pts out of strength?

if anyone new to the game is scrolling the comments thinking the video is too long, I assure you he goes over details that are very important for new players to learn. Like myself who didn't even know One Gun army is how you shoot down scorchbeasts like Dragonrend can from Skyrim. The details were definitely interesting to learn, and i'd say crucial. great video

Shiiiiii man. Good advice. I'm from Warframe though so this video isn't too long from what I'm used too lol some of those creators get ridiculous

It was pointed out to me that the party based perks and mutations work even if you just create a team for yourself. I've gotten into the habit of just making a casual team for me. If others join in later, more Int for more xp. Otherwise, it works like a dream.

my only issue i have trouble with here is weight and the weapon’s weight alot the aid weights alot and food as well should i just sell off all the aid and food i dont use or plan on using stash space is a serious issue i feel like the more they add to the game the more stash space we should be given

I really appreciate the way you structured this video. You clearly stated what the build’s focus is (PVE, tanking first and damage second, etc.) and fully explaining your reasoning for choosing each perk card. Most of the build videos that get recommended are click bait or extremely end-game/impractical for the average player, but this is perfect! Looking forward to see more vids!

yeah they are glitched but its a bethesda game what can we expect… theres still ways to get it lmao. i always get the right leg and chest randomly but can never puck them up if it drops from an enemy. if it drops from an enemy u gotta find its body and then wait like 10 mins for the body to despawn and the pa should be there. anyone know how to get the other pieces? bc i cant craft the chest or right leg n i still get them. only those tho

So glad to see an update to this, been using your older build for ages. Definitely going to try this in the evening! Would be great to see an unyielding secret service armour build from you at some point. I've always seemed to struggle with survivability when trying to switch from the power armour builds and always end up coming back. Obviously it'll never be as tanky, but it's sometimes nice to not use the power armour all the time and get a little bit more exp/carry weight (I use the T-65 PA)

I almost didn't watch this because of the length, but the detail and clear explanations of the various synergies made it zip by, and I'm glad I sat through it. I found myself thinking 'Oh wow I had no idea!" a lot even though I've been playing for a couple of months and watched a ton of guide videos. Great work! Now all I have to do is go through another eleventy bazillion Meat Cook events to try and get the Peppershaker (I have already given away about 10 Tenderiser plans dammit :D)

Im using a bloodied stealth commando since 2020 and i was looking for something to use my power armors with. Thanks for this update it refreshes alot for me since i never really did swap builds.

Rock solid build. I’ve been running an almost identical build for a while now and I haven’t died once, yet. I’m using the hellcat PA as I was able to craft a jetpack on the helmet a while back leaving the torso free for the emergency protocol. I wear the Chinese stealth suit for underneath in the rare case I accidentally hop out of the PA in a nuke zone and it gives decent overall protection outside of PA. For the legendary effects on the armor pieces I prefer weapons weight reduction over hardy as I struggle to get weapons with the 90% weight reduction.

Thanks for the update! Will try it once I've saved up enough perk coins for the Endurance card again. Maybe an update for version 4.0, but for launcher type weapons (AGL, Fat Man, Missile Launcher) Two Shot performs better than Bloodied. In regards to the Fat Man and Missile Launcher, you can easily get the Boomstick & Overkill legendaries from mutated packs. These come with grolls. Personally not my favourite weapons and definitely not good daily use weapons, but still fun to whip out from time to time.

worth noting the chameleon mutation also works for armour with the Weightless legendary effect which is perfect for carrying in PA as it weights next to nothing while giving protection when you need to step out.

Well said and explained build the only thing id change out is the ammo weight reduction card cause most my ammo is in my stash i carry only what i need for a while the restock when out

Fun fact: If your weapon has the 15% Faster VATS Crit recharge, you can do a VATS Crit every second hit if paired with 23 lucks and Critical Savy.

@@TYRYT While Unpopular of a Playstyle Running Berserkers has taught me a lot about how best to Tank without resistance, Suppressor being one of the best.

you can holster your weapon right before you fall in pa to cancel the landing animation ive been doing ever since i learned of it so no bird bones needed

i was just watching the 2.0 video and thought "hmm if only there is an updated version of this build" and the boom there it is lol

not being able to carry 500 carry weight is what makes me hate power armor. I will try this out for bosses.

Can't wait to do this build, but without the Cremator. People spamming this nonstop during events has made me hate the weapon

Depends on what your missing, you can make one star armor and weapons work while you grind for those god rolls, regular perks are another story I recommend getting the correct ones, legendary perks are amazing boosters to your build, but can do without them if you’re not high enough level, keep grinding and you’ll get all slots eventually at level 300 As for anything else, it’s important to use the right modifications on the armor, correct mutations are also important and playing on a team is always recommended. Just enjoy the process, there’s no wrong way to utilise a build while your grinding for the end game, you can’t utilise everything at the beginning so just use what you can and like I said enjoy building this build.

@@TYRYT Right now I'm just leveling up to get all the perks I'm missing. Since I leveled up as a commando I don't have the majority of all these cards, so that's gonna take a while. But I will work on it, probably start with some more simple, beginner PA build. Found one from Mr West Tek that looks pretty solid, and I'll work my way up from there.

I run a vats crit bloody gatling plasma build and its a mix of being the ultimate tank combined with amazing dps. Its very resource draining and getting 33+ luck in power armor took a few tricks. Its a fun build tho

I just used the stealth suite when i was running my power armor playing on xbox lvling a character on pc now

This is going to be my first actual build. I had another character and it was crazy. Perks were chosen at random.

I know it's more of a grind, but the legendary that reduces ammo weight is so good for heavy weapons, Fusion cores, Missiles, Fuel, Bullets all reduced for no perk points. If you use all 3 of those weapon types that's 8 points saved. Been slowly perfecting my own Heavy weapons build and love your video, although i'm too lazy to create foods and drugs to really min max.

I’ve been playing this game for a while now… never knew bird bones got rid of that animation, currently sprinting home 😂

Currently working towards a modified version of this build mashed together with Angry Turtle's heavy gunner sniper build. It's nowhere near complete, but it's fun even in the half-way state I have it in currently. Using X-01 cuz that's the only one I have emergency protocols on. Using a 1* anti-armor gauss rifle and 1* bloodied gauss mingun atm, but I'll swap to a plasma caster or gatling laser on occasion, trying to roll the gat laser as a vampire for healing since I'm using fusion cores on my armor anyways, but no luch as of yet

Is this the best build for PVP as well? If not what is? Killer build and welcome back! For example, if you were faced with a PvP situation against someone in this build, what would be the best way to counter it?

Perk coins is my biggest problem right now. I heard of the pvp thing they did that reward those. I have some work to do, but that makes this build the hardest to complete for me. I'm lvl 84 right now and thank you I know what I need to work on and for.

Thank you for this. My Heavy Gunner build is almost exactly like this, and even when it is not, your builds always make me reconsider mine. The only part I am not convinced about is being a Herbivore. As a Carnivore I can easily maintain an additional 8 Luck, Agility, and Endurance. That allows my Bloodied/ Lucky/ Lucky Plasma Caster or Gatling Plasma to Crit every other shot, because they have “Crit Meter Fills Faster” on the 3rd star. While Sweet Mutfruit Tea only gives me 50% more Crit Damage, I estimate the extra Crits make up for it now that the extra damage is additive while the Crits themselves bypass damage mitigation. Thoughts?

Hey mate appreciate it! Herbivores do have those special boosts as well, check out buffs n brew to see a full list. You can likely find a way to maintain that boost in luck and also benefit from the extra crit damage that the herbivore offers.

Hey man, ABSOLUTELY INSANE guide. BUT one thing to consider: UNION pa is not obtainable at the moment, afaik. Regardless, some comments of what I love about the video. a) You explain in detail why it works. This is useful to understand game mechanics and be better at the game. Kudos. b) You explain how the different pieces and perks of the build work together. Again, useful to understand game mechanics and allows the end player to add modifications to cater to them. Kudos. c) And you also explain how to do a version of it without all the perks or levels. The only thing I might suggest is that PA is PA... and what matters is that you get the proper rolls and not the exact pa type you have. IE, isn't it more important to have OVEREATERS rather than a specific pa type? All in all, super detailed, well explain and well put together video. Thanks!
