Thanks so much for checking out my guide and for your comment. I love building stuff in Fallout 4 and honestly sometimes it's all I do. It's nice to just chilling out to some creative building.

Today I Learned: the items highlighted within build mode have two separate colors, green or yellow. Green-Blind Deuternopia affects as many as 3% or more of the male population.

@@Mr.-gt6kx thanks for your comment and feedback. How is got Trapped, well I was somewhat tricked into playing the game and have been playing ever since. And that was years ago now.

​@TrappedInFallout I got trapped the same way. Started with 4 then 3 and new vegas, then 1 and 2😅

The first thing I set up after beds, water, and food is the settlement radio. Then I do the lights and machine guns and in some settlements lasers. Never use rocket launchers as they might kill your settlers in a skirmish. I prefer the 500 point generator and use small ones to power lasers. The big one makes enough for street lights and inside home lights. One thing I find irritating though is the short distance you can have between street lights and homes. The distance is abysmally short. Try setting up a Vault settlement. Real fun especially since it overloads so fast on settlers.A good place to get settlers to send to other settlements:) My Sanctuary has 3 bots and usually runs at 85 happiness all the time. Don't need 100% for happiness though.

This sounds like a good plan, thanks for sharing. I pretty much do exactly what I showed in the video but the stuff I did not show is what I do afterwards in terms or building points of interest. I also like to build walls and other defence like structures.

Sturges is a synth and is locked at 50% happiness, so if he is one of your Sanctuary settlers he will always bring it down. I have close to 30 dogs so Sanctuary sits at 100% pretty easily, unless I get the bed glitch when I'm away for too long then it sometimes drops to 98%. Kill 'em with kindness.

Video is a great starting guide. I wish I knew this stuff when I 1st started. U should break this up into a series. Would love to watch it.

Thanks for checking out my guide. That's actually not a bad idea at all and I may do that. I actually had a lot more to say for each of the chapters in was being a little conservative as I did not want to make the video too long, and even then it was close to 1 hour long.

Hmmm, I miss a lot. You can loot items in buildings and just in the field, a free way to get recourses. Many places respawn the junk regular. A few won't respawn. Just one of the important things you need to tell.

Fair points. In this guide I mainly tried to focus on building an entire settlement and getting it running while also talking about tips. The one you mentioned it worth noting too. Thanks for sharing.
