All SPECIAL points are capped around lvl30, but Charisma is capped around 15. Capped as in yeah the nr can say lvl 99 though the effects won't count.

No it isn't. That would only allow 25 settlers, you can get 40+. While endurance is soft capped due to eventually gaining unlimited sprinting you keep gaining hp too. Charisma is soft capped on speech checks around 12-15 though, and perception is soft capped at enough to always have 95% accuracy withoutperks. So if that is what you mean, yeah they have caps.

I have managed to get each of my Specials upto around 25 plus with things like Unyielding, clothing items, food etc. I'm not entirely sure how high I can make them go and it's an interesting question 🤔

​@@nobodynothing282Speech checks are always successful with Charisma 11, buying and selling are only able to be reduced/increased by 1.2/.8 and with cap collector 1 and Charisma 15, that is as good as prices get. Hit chances are maxed at 95%, which sets an upper limit on effective Perseption. A limit of 30 on Intelligence doesn't make sense because you can temporarily add 35 to your Intelligence through doing the ASL level thingy with the hubologists.

With the exception of the settlement population, CHR beyond 12 is useless. At 12 you can pass every speech check and receive maximum bartering rate.

One thing you dont mention is that if you are on PC DO NOT USE OR MOVE THE MOUSE during the Scrap/Modify process. Use Keyboard only. If you move the mouse over the menu while both menus are up you lose the ability to apply any mods. Took me a while to realise I had to scoot the mouse out of the way BEFORE scrapping and use the keyboard only

If you're on PC, why bother going through all the hassle, just use console commands lol.

You can actually use the duplication glitch for ammo. Have dogmeat get the ammo before it gets stored and when he drops it save and quit, and when you come back instead of one bullet it will be duplicated

Or you can use the item duplication glitch, build the ammo production machine and place all the required materials in the machine. Let the machine run while you're making endless traps to level. Much easier and far less annoying.

The new glitch is easier than that bro

For caps the easiest way is to use the Dogmeat-pickup-glitch to have him carry as many fusion cores as you want. They are the single most expensive, non-legendary item. Take along Dogmeat to any vendor, take out enough cores to buy everything you need and/or carry, and clean them out of caps. This will also quickly give you more than enough stuff to scrap to allow you to build to your hearts content. If you are able to invest in the stores they will also give you those lovely weightless supplies. With enough fusion cores on Dogmeat you can drop everything you can't carry yourself, get Dogmeat to pick it up for you, and be your hauler to carry it to a workbench. Where you will take everything from Dogmeat and immediately dump it into the workbench so you won't have to worry about stenuous overload damage even in survival mode. Have fun hauling everything. Or cheat. I don't care.

What weapon combinations have you found that's the best to do that doesn't break the game? Can you do a video of you top 5 or top 10 weapon combo glitches that combines like your minigun

That's not a bad idea, I may consider this as future content. For now, to help answer your question, I usually stick to the minigun and pipe pistol as my base weapons and add mods from other weapons onto them.

Nice twist on the special book glitch. Much easier. Have a sub.

If you can’t build stores the gunner cage from wasteland only requires steel, copper, and 500 caps and you can abuse it way earlier

These glitches are mind boggling. Looked up the resource glitch like two months ago after reading about in some comment section and after getting it to work it literally broke the game for me. Plus I’ve been farming xp with wooden posts tediously to get a quick perk here and there. Then I did some more looking recently and found the shelf and the safe xp farm that’s way less tedious since they stack, and now these?! Man it’s my first play though so I think I’ll just try these to learn them then reload without them so I can still have some dignity for finishing this first run. On my next run I’ll definitely start at 10 across the board and farm the do for crafting perks. Thanks for the video this information was amazing.

Use the materials glitch to dup resources then... Start by making bear traps and eventually move to the top end grenade. Note: once the count of the materials surpasses 32k don't attempt to make more or it will reset to 1 if you try and duplicate that stack again.

When getting penalties from Survival, I wait a day and boost my stats up to 10, then wait another day. The reason is because once a stat goes to 1, it cannot go lower. So if you don't let a stat get to 1, you will make the most of your penalties. Another tip, you'll want Tattered Rags, which give a -1 penalty to Luck. You'll want to wear it while getting penalties from fatigue/hunger/thirst. You can't do it afterward, because the stat needs to be below 10 to use "You're SPECIAL!".

That last glitch got me thinking, though. If a player picks up an item at the same time a campanion does, would it still dupe? I imagine the timing would be way more difficult than with the conveyor, but if a conveyor isn't available..

Thanks for your comment. Yes it's possible. For instance ask a companion to pick up a legendary weapon and while they are doing it pick up the weapon yourself. And it should duplicate.

Can you use the duplication glitch with the conveyor system and the You're Special book instead of the first way you explained by changing the book from a gun glitch and then putting in workshop?

Yes that's right, that's another way of essentially achieving the same thing.

If i were to take the deliverer for instance and change part of it into a plasma piece, does it keep the damage of the original weapon, but shoot bullets that LOOK like the plasma weapons? Or does it change the value of the damage? I ask because i was thinking about doing something like this, but i didnt want to use the Missle Launcher, or the Fat Man. Sure, explosions are fun, but i wanted to experiment with other alternatives

I have tried this myself (not the same weapons you mentioned but others) and have mixed results. Undeter the hood the weapons are all programmed differently so in some instances I found bullets depleting from the weapon correctly but the damage being applied as per the mod and vice versa. In short I don't have a solid answer sadly.

I knew there had to be a use for all those pipe pistols in Sanctuary.

That's a good reception stat. And now nothing will escape your gaze on the radar (unless your playing on survival mode).

Im having an issue with the xp glitch, I get to the point were I have both the robot menu open and the trade menu, but when I go down to torso, it keeps saying i dont have the rescources to craft, so i think its still making me craft. I will say though that is using the depad button, i can shuffle through the trade menu with the joystick and it not make me craft, but im not getting any XP from it. If you know anything that will help, it would be much appreciated :). Also idk if this changes anything, but i am using dog meat as the companion.

I have tried the glitch with Dogmeat myself and its worked on my side with no issues. I would suggest you try with other companions and make sure that you can actually craft an autromatron with a torso before doing the menu glitch.

Okay, so like with duplicating items with the intention of selling them for caps how do you get the people to carry more money after getting the seller's perk? I only get about 400 caps per person. Am I doing something wrong?

It's not a perk I use very often but rhe Caps Collector (I think) increases the amount of caps you can get via selling and buying your vendors. It's probably what u would use yo effectively increase a vendors cap amount.

Deserves alot more like my guy great video, loved the gun one make the game so much fuck with crazy gun mixes lol

I tried the special book glitch.. scrap is only available after select. There is no scrap and store option available at the same time...

If that is the case then it almost sounds like the book did not fully convert into a scrappable object. As long as the first part of the glitch worked then you should have both optoins available to you at the same time.

Yes, as far as I can tell they have all been confirmed working across multiple platforms including PS4. Sadly I don't own the console myself so I can't personally confirm but they have been confirmed by others.

I suppose you can. I assume when you say cheat menu you are referring to a mod as there are no cheat menus in Fallout 4 natively. But yes, it theory it should work.

Yeah, its got some legs lol. The graphics may not have aged very well however the gameplay is really solid, arguably still better handsome modern games.

U can duplicate stacked items just take wat they pick up out of their inventory and drop it then take the original from th conveyer out and drop that next to th duplicated one then save a reload ur game th duplicated stack should then match the original

The first glitch didnt work for me, just shows tungsten as the item instead of the book, i even tried putting every digit except for the exclamation mark Edit: i tried using Z instead of Y and it came up with the wilson atomatoys key, anyone know what digit(s) comes after Z in the code?

After a uppercase letter of Z, it is likely to be a lowercase letter of a, then b, c, d etc.

Not to change the subject, but did I just see a truck drive by on the street in front of your house and sanctuary? I do not believe I've ever seen a working vehicle outside of vertibirds. How did this happen

I doubt it - I have never seen a moving vehicle in the game - well I have fly vehicle in the game using some basic physics tricks but nothing that moves on it's own.

Yeap, that would work also. You can also duplicate money and sell them for caps also as they have good value in caps and weigh very little.

They work just fine on PS5 (and PS4). It’s all in the timing. You press and hold square, and as soon as you release it, you press and hold circle, and holding that, you press x twice.

This may not help, but you have to find the correct name to rename your original scrapped item to. This typically happens if you have quest items or other resources. The glitch itself works because the You’re SPECIAL book is replacing the original scrapped item due to the game replacing the scrapped item with the closest named thing. “y” works for players with limited inventory items because “y” = “Y” in You’re. I’d try naming your item a few different letters, one letter at a time. It DOES work, it’s just more challenging. Good Luck!

After the update. I still can't start a New Game in Fallout 4 without crashing before the introduction.

I had the same problem before the update. I had to disable the workshops dlc and only load the game with nukaworld and Far harbor dlc instead and it works. But after the update everything was fixed.

Does getting special points above 10, actually break/glitch the game? I'm afraid it will because when i Played 7 years ago, the game became unbeatable. For now, I jus left all Specials at 9.

Raising your special points above 10 isn't a glitch; when your stats are at ten and you have modifiers like clothing or perks your stats go over 10 anyway. I've read elsewhere in the comments that raising them above 30 has no effect, but I can attest that having them higher than 10 is actually crucial in some interactions.

Raising them over 30 does have an effect. Charisma soft caps at 12-15 to pass every speech check. However, settlers can be 50+ (40 charisma, 10 base). Endurance soft caps due to unlimited sprinting,but you still get extra hp. So while the effectiveness does get reduced, the secondary effects still work.

SMH hahaha

You can duplicate stackable ammo and fusion cores. You just need to know how to do it. I’ve duplicated Fusion Cores, .45-70 ammo, Buka cola quantums, mini nukes and a couple other limited items in the game.

Chances are that you already switched to Survival once and then back. Sadly in Fallout 4 if you switch to Survival mode and then switch back, you can not switch back to Survival Mode again in the same playthrough.

So I have cheat terminal like 99 % of other players, well if you have the series X lol because Sony PS5 is super super restrictive of mods lol but I see these vids OMG use these glitches to cheat your way through FO4!! Actually to my knowledge all of these glitches have been in the game from day 1 and have since not been fixed. Some were found much later than day 1 but I don't think these glitches were ever fixed. I may be wrong but I have been using them for years now, years before the Next Gen update.

The reason why I didn't use the Piggy Bank is because it uses Piggy Bank Ammo when using the mod on other weapons. When using the MIRV, it uses the base weapon ammo hence the glitch. Had I been missing any resources, then the option would have been greyed out, and the game would not have allowed me to craft the mod.

No.1 glitch needs to be fixed yesterday. That's just plain stupid. So are xp exploits. What's the point of playing?

The game is buggy as hell, I am not wasting time playing normally when you still only have a 50/50 chanceboston won't crash ypur game.

No, it just removes a bunch of arbitrary bs to power through the story. The game is worse than New Vegas when it comes to stability.

You basically get to play like a Terminator from the start of the game. What wouldn't be fun about that?

anyone who does this dumb glitch might as well just go into console and enter god mode. if youre gonna cheat to become over powered then you clearly dont care about enjoying the game and just want to play on easy mode. Skip this whole video. Set your game to easy mode, type ~ and then in console type TGM for god mode. Or you can set the special stats in the console if you know the commands and take much less time than this glitch

This is a fair comment however folks who play on consoles can not use console commands so this is they way of doing that. Also, it's an offline game so ones gameplay is not effecting another. And after playing the game for years now it's probably OK to take some shortcuts.

So exploit the game then complain on bugs and glitches due to you exploiting the game.Why play the game at that point

It's a fair point but I can say with confidence that I have not really complained about it. It's software, it's never going to always work lol.

Ha ha that's one way to get what you want - too bad not all mods are available across all platforms that Fallout 4 can be played on.
