Fallon VS Two White Belt Men with Narration

Hey all!
First of all, I want to apologize that I haven’t been posting weekly. The holiday season has had me running a little behind on making videos. I’m still training every day, but I haven’t been filming.😔 In today's video, I am rolling with two white belts. The first one is probably 5’10 170lbs and the next one you see me rolling with is 5’9 150lbs. For reference, I am 5’7 and 130 lbs. Everyone always comments how much they love Bobby, so I put a little bit of his rolling in the video! Now you can kinda see his style a little bit since you always see him teaching on my channel!
Anyway, hope you guys have a wonderful day, and leave comments below about what you want to see next!
Xoxo,
Fallon

    Love gi matches. No gi is also cool but you can’t do gi chokes without one. Question Fallon- if you are fighting a man is it possible to apply some of these submissions slowly or do you have to be quick in case they can somehow adapt their position or use their strength to block you? I would love to see a bow and arrow choke applied slowly in a real contest with someone being stretched out and choked. That level of domination is so cool, like that Ffion Davies choke when she looks behind for a picture. I honestly thought it was photoshopped then thought ‘omg that is the coolest most in control choke/thing I’ve ever seen’ #levels Is that showing off/disrespectful?

    Interesting. One critical factor for your game. Each time I roll with a hyper-comp grappler, when he can't finish his sub, or pass the 30sec mark, he'll switch to another sub attempt, and again, and again. I remember one instructor who once yelled at the whole class, guys, when you shoot for a triangle or a sub, if the triangle isn't there, go for something else, you're a grappler, not one that pauses for picture album. Last year, my nogi instructor had me in a arm triangle, on the video I was astonish when I counted the amount of time he spent. 60 sec or so. Another instructor assured that my instructor, if he spent that long, maybe he had trouble finihing the sub, and letting go of that one, would mean he worked for nothing. Maybe your coach, not you, needs to improve on chaining three sub attempts together, finishing you like those upperbelt who switch from plan B, to plan c' back to plan A, and eventually, your defense loosens each time they switch, then you tap. That's how you recodnize a decent good grappler according to him. I just wanted to give you those tips, cause if your student is white belt and you cant finish a sub, switching to another sub, will f&%$ his mind big time. Hope I havent offended you, cause some upperbelts dont take advices even though they put videos on youtube. I even had upperbelt insulting me for giving them advices, lol. I replied to them, its ok, I only been in grappling for a small 20 years. Sorry my bad. Much respect to you.

    Yes! oops, I meant that he can't rotate his legs in if he is trying to retain his guard. It blocks him from crunching those knees and legs in. I had two thoughts at once. When I said hip escape, I was talking about the shoulders on the top of his legs, but I didn't mention my shoulder pressure. Thank you!!

    I beat two black belts in a no rules 1vs2 handicap fight during my black belt testing in Isshinryu Karate. I tapped the first one out standing up, keeping his body between myself and the second guy, and then beat the second one 1vs1. Beating two white belts is not very impressive at all.

    When you have a triangle how can you transition to the armbar?

  • @FallonFratone

    @FallonFratone

    Жыл бұрын

    So to transition from triangle to arm bar you have to grab the bicep of your opponents arm inside the triangle and pull it tight to you (use the same side arm of your bottom leg). Then the other arm (side of your top leg that locks the triangle) is going to push the face toward the locked side of your triangle. From here you want to swing that top leg over the head of your opponent. Now the hand that pushed the face grabs the opponents wrist and you legs are going to clamp down to the floor (your want your heels trying to touch the mat) as you hip rise up to the sky. Hopefully that helped. Hard to explain and understand without a visual! Maybe Bobby and I will do a tutorial on it as well!
