FALLON VS Giovanni 5’10 170LBS with Narration

Hi guys!
I’m so happy to finally be uploading a video! Today, I am training with Giovanni! Fun fact: his name is actually Steve, but my brother, Bobby, said he looked more like a Giovanni and now that’s what everyone calls him. 🤭 Jiu Jitsu nicknames become the persons identity real fast which I always love! So, Gio is 5’10 and 170lbs. He is such a kind individual and he has been improving so fast! He is very dedicated, I see him in the gym pretty much everyday and he is always taking extra classes, so I’m excited to see where he is in a year from now. Maybe we will get a rematch! 🤭 Alrighty, hope you guys enjoy this narration video!
If I can’t upload a narrated roll, would you guys prefer me to just upload a training video without my narration or wait for the narration?
Leave comments below on any questions or things you want to see!!
Xoxo,
Fallon

    Great fight!! I saw a no-gi video of you from the last year and came to this video to see your improvement, and you became a tough fighter. You commented during the fight that you find hard to do takedowns, I think some judo techniques would help, if you use them be careful just to not throwing your opponents, here are some of the techniques I think this will help you ( I dont know if you will be allowed to use them): Osoto Gari, Ouchi Gari, Uchi Mata, Morote Seoi Nage, Tai Otoshi, Yoko Tomoe Nagi.

  • @TheTyler701

    @TheTyler701

    2 reasons: First... It gives a false sense/delusion of skills. Gravity will always be favored in real life. Playing guard against ppl who arent trying to hurt you can get you in trouble when youre playing guard against someone who is trying to hurt you. Secondly, its that the position will always be beta from a natural selection standpoint. Its literally the same position as missionary. Now with that being said, at the highest level no one cares and guard is just as much of a meta as passing on top is.

    In years of training jiu-jitsu I have never met anyone who worried about pulling guard because it looked 'beta'. Most people want to be able to do well in guard, and on top, in a case they compete with someone who is really strong against their go to. If your opponent is amazing at passing for instance, you'd be better off with a strong take down than trying to win from guard and getting passed.

    Everyone knows that the best woman in the UFC would be murdered by the worst man in the UFC, or else he wouldn't be in the UFC. AFAIK there aren't any organizations or state boards in the USA that would even sanction a mixed MMA, kickboxing, or boxing match between professionals. A female BJJ black belt that I know said once in response to a similar question: "I don't think there are any circumstances in which a man should have permission to punch a woman in the face." Most rational people would agree with her. There's been one or two trans women who fought in smaller MMA promotions and it was a disaster for the bio females. Exactly no female MMA fighters are asking for the chance to fight guys or ever have. The advantages in speed, strength, and other gifts of high testosterone are just too enormous, even on a pound-for-pound basis. Fallon trains with these lower-rank-belt guys and she's obviously a great and caring teacher with a big bag of tricks. As she wrote in one of her video replies, though, "It's not a street fight!" It's a friendly BJJ class, where the man knows she has way more skills, has been doing BJJ for a lot longer and more intensively, and he is there to respectfully learn what she can teach. The male student isn't going to lift her up and slam her against anything, or hit her and break her nose, or act like a baby/bad sport at all, or the guys in the place would throw him out into the parking lot. But if a fellow keeps on training, however, to acquire a package of skills and experience that are like hers or maybe not even that far, there will come a day when she can't school him like this any more; he will become too much to handle.

    Real good teachers make students better than themselves, obviously it is not Fallons interest.if i were a coach my boys would be prepared and never dared to be unconcentrated for a 1/10 of a second vs girls and have the will to beat them they don't even have as much when beating boys. On top they needed to train a lot of gymnastics and dancing and ballet. So boys would have all the stamina, strength and flexibility and knowing in other ways to use any muscle they own. This makes me wonder why far more girls do such sports and societies don't even think about girls having all advantages over boys in all mentioned attributes. Fir thousands of years this should be what boys learn besides of school or working. And we needed decades of boy empowerment . Almost all boys lack all of those. So they are clearly on a big disadvantage.

  • @FallonFratone

    @FallonFratone

    5 ай бұрын

    There’s not a lot of black belts in general let alone at one gym. So it’s pretty impossible to only train with your own rank especially at such a high level. I have all of the higher belts at my gym already on my channel. For new videos, I have to grab new people who are usually white belts. Otherwise you would watch the same video over and over again. I train daily with higher belts. I just don’t post them on here so you don’t see the same people.
