Lyrics
The voices in my head
keep on telling me to pray
Cuz’ I’m spinning like a
carousel circling the drain
Hit the bottom of the bottle
I don’t wanna feel the pain
but that is all I got for now
I don’t wanna talk about it
The voices in my head
Keep on begging me to stay
If I pull the trigger now
Then the demons go away
and I know my time is coming
So there ain’t no time to waste
So that is all I got for now
I don’t wanna talk about it
The voices in my head
Keep telling me to choose a side
heaven or hell like it’s do or die
I’m a sad boy you know better
Please don’t make this last forever
The voices in my head
Keep telling me I’m not okay
Cause it’s feeling like a hurricane in my brain
Dark clouds dark skies bad weather
Please don’t make this last forever
(Eye E eye)
The voices in my head
keep telling me I’m gonna
(Die)
and I don’t wanna talk
about the drama, I’m trauma-
(tized)
they keep tellin me I’m fine
We both know that’s a fuckin
(Lie)
I’m losing my mind but
I don’t wanna talk about it
The voices in my head
Keep giving me the worst advice
Kamikaze crash like a suicide
I’m a lost boy you know better
Please don’t make this last forever
the voices in my head
keep telling me I’m insane
and maybe I’m a little bit
That won’t change
Dark clouds dark skies bad weather
Please don’t make this last forever
The voices in my head
keep telling me I’m cursed
I’m paranoid I don’t wanna make it any worse
We’re all gonna die but first things first
Imma take the world with me
when they put me in the dirt

Hi! I thought I was the oldest person listening to this music. I'm 58 female AND I LOVE THESE SONGS OF DEEP PAIN AND MISERY. And, I'm glad your here!. I just to say that, I'm surprised at how many people have suffered. They may have had the perfect life money parents vacations. But, so many people have things like depression and body dysmorphia anxiety and mental health issues. They may have grown up in a so called good home. But, still have had trauma S.abuse or abuse of any kind. I think very few people have had good lives. It seems most people's lives were awful in some way or something awful happened to them. Growing up in the 70s and 80s. had my boys at 18, and 21. They didn't talk much about mental health issues. I thought I was the only one having anxiety and depression. I thought it was because I was taking care of my elderly physically disabled mother and raising 2 kids IN A TOWN and region I HATED. ( Oh and the father of my kids died when I was pregnant with our second baby). I had no idea others suffered anxiety for no reason. I couldn't understand nothing bad was even happening at the time. But, it was nice when TV shows talk shows started about all these things celebrities would talk about their lives living with depression etc. It was nice to know others were like me. Glad you're listening to this stuff. Oh listen to the songs and watch the video from DISTURBED called IN THE FIRE and ASYLUM. Intense man... Take Care!!!.

I know I've commented before, but have to say this song has helped me through very hard times. My husband and kids are SO tired of listening to this song. Lol. When my dad was dying I listened to this A LOT. Then I almost died last year from a 4 wheeler accident where I live in Perham, MN well I was life flighted to Fargo. ND and after finally waking after 3 days later in the hospital I finally woke up to my husband and teenage kids, doctors all around me breaking the news I was in a awful 4 wheeler accident. Completely shocked!!! Finally got more coherent and that's when they broke the news to me about how I fractured 9 ribs, snapped my femur bones. Had 2 brain bleeds, under conscious and so on. Long story short, this song got me through the hard times. I haven't looked to see where your concerts are, IF I remember correctly sadly you won't be going to Fargo. ND. I would love to pay meet and greet passes, be in the front row ANYTHING to tell you thank you. Your music has saved myself, many times I wanted to overdoes and end the pain. But don't want to leave my amazing husband and step daughter who's 26 and 2 teenage boys. It would be a godsend. And keep praying to all my loved ones that all passed away all way too soon for being amazing gaurdian angels for watching over me. After talking to our EMT/Police Officers that were were saying how awful and nervous they were when they knew it was me in that accident. Sadly my 2 older labs are putting weight on (they are on a diet, lol) ever since I'm terrified to drive a 4 wheeler every again which our labs LOVED to chase after me. Got that awesome exercise like every big dog needs. My husband went and bought a brand spanking new side by side for me for a Christmas gift. I broke down obviously Which has seat belts, roll bars. BUT I still haven't driven it. I'm terrified!!!!!! Especially when it was winter time and is meant to drive in that. Our boys take it to go to Big Pine Lake to go ice fishing. Which is awesome they can do that. Then when my hubby drives I come with (he's always busy working hus butt off for our Sazama Auto Glass buisness, easy way to put it that the man is almost 50 and honestly could retire anytime) our almost 16 year old who loves to do what his dad does, not many places do RV windows/semi trucks/sunroof, etc. We have people driving hours to deliver their RV. When he is off from school he'll go to work with dad. He's doing amazing!!!!!! One of our body shops that's our customer wants to hire him to do certain things at the semi shop. Awesome lesson for him. ANYWHO, I jam out your music ALL the time almost like a therapy session for me cause like I said before I wanted to kill myself to end the pain. But I cannot do that to my family,/friends/customers. So much plus it's selfish. So much for long story short, lol. I have so much to say. 🤣 I have a doctor appointment with my amazing doctor (I would say his name, but not sure if I can seat his name or not, lol.) To get a few shots for the awful pain I'm in. Which I'm tired of the stumbling because the pain and plus being diagnosed at 19 years old. So yeah dealing with a MonSter disease on top of the pains from the accident. Plus ended up going to rehab cause I was mixing my ambien/xanax with alcohol. Which is why my dad died from. Another long story lol. I gotta get ready for the day. Hahaha. Even though been up since 2 (stupid insomnia), clearly easily distracted and great at getting side tracked. 😂 Thank you again plus I gotta get chili in the crackpot this morning after the kiddos are off to school. Lol Have a wonderful day and keep rocking it!!! 🤘🏽 Yolo you've touched many lives man. Definitely need to check to see if you are coming to St. Paul, MN. (But if i had to, i would, we are going to see Metellica, FFDP and it was just announced DMX with be there. H3LL to the yeaaaaaaah. Just ends up being a long @$$ drive. Sitting that long makes me sore from that accident plus dealing with that stupid MonSter, gotta stop a lot to walk and stretch. Meh. GaH I have to go. Lol. Take care man

I think this song is as much about Ronnie continuing to reinvent himself and stay relevant and successful despite multiple attempts from the media and everyone else telling him that he's done as much as it is about him growing and not being the person he was in the past. He's literally killing off the past versions of himself and moving past pieces of his life that were less glamorous and very difficult. Maybe that's why he's blacked out all his tattoos recently? He no longer needs the reminder of who he once was when he's trying to grow into something better. He's literally and physically a blank slate. Regardless, you can't deny that he's a genius and enormously talented. Here's to another #1 🍻 Go Ronnie🙌

First time hearing about this guy was today. Been going through a lot in my little life over here, so i got a tarot reading (I'm just trying to understand the what and why's of what im going through right now) and she told me this is what she saw as i was talking(actually i was sobbing tbh). She said it was loud in her mind with flashes of this video. She told me that i needed to know that.. So i googled it, and here i am... Well, after picking my jaw up off the floor, i had to just sit here in silence for a while to take it all in. I didn't realize I was holding my breath for a good while listening and watching this. I kinda gasped for air at one point. I have NEVER in all my years on this planet felt physically and emotionally connected to a song, the up and downs and changes in his voice... The music is beyond words. His voice is beautiful, the video made me feel like i was in it for a sec. Lol. I don't even know how to word how I'm feeling right now. Crazy shit how this just did something to me.

Ronnie, your lyrics are scaring me, my dude. The world needs you. Your daughter needs you. You've saved more lives with your music over the past 15+ years than you know. Those people still need you. Let that be a light in your darkest times. Keep finding the strength to fight your demons. You're not yet all you could be. Tough times don't last, but tough people do. Your music has filled the past 10 years of my life with the motivation to finish that last rep in a workout, to become the best version of me possible for my family and, to strive towards fulfilling my potential. I look forward to the next 10 years of my life with more of your artwork filling my playlists. Will look forward to meeting you one day and shaking your hand with a smile.

I don't usually listen to these kinds of songs, but I enjoyed this one, not only the song, but because I'm a photographer and a new videographer, I was thrilled with the production and visual effects of the video. Congratulations not only to the singers and the band but also to those behind the cameras and the unsung artists who create such beautiful results.

he’s tapped in as cliche as that sounds. Some, call it the third eye or whatever but i’s not something advertised nor something achieved by suggestion or trickery. this guy has mastered his craft and along with this precision, his eye is truly open for both good and bad. Its up to each of us to individually change our mindset to change the shifting reality to a a collective better. So distracted with the media and AI is studying us as we fall into the same old traps. Escape is achievable but sitting behind the keyboard and diagnosing other’s reality is only good for so long (like i’m doing right now). Can’t keep shit hidden at the same time. this band has something special but you won’t see it climb the invisible charts because he isn’t a puppet to the material industry of so called music entertainment. He’s created what he has envisioned his whole life, brought out of the shadow self into the now. He seems to be ascending with his gift as we all ponder this overwhelming world stage collapse. This reality is being manipulated by the overseers and its darker than the movies but it’s a mental war to rise to the 5th and what comes with that ascension is the true gift each of us have deep down . Music and cinema seem be his escape as he ascends as a father and the daily rat race , 3d trap we all physically are attached to. I can’t be the only one who feels this shift among us? For me , the music i make is coming so easily lately and i’m able to bend it where i want including the artwork. AI is a catch 22 and the last weapon to keep us dumb down in the 3d. aSorry for babble but this song and this collective discovery of Ronnie has really opened my mind up to the power of ones mind and determination in making the shadow self stay close but on a leash and no longer tuggin you.

Radke has a great voice, as always, but I also love how he builds it up from the beginning of the video with each "self/voice" that dies, has that brief quiet-before-the-storm moment, and then lets it explode at 2:13. That staccato "we're all gonna die" punctuated by gunfire at 2:30 was beautifully done. Lyrically, it's uncomfortably relatable, but I still love it. Every day is a battle in your own mind and no matter how many of those voices you kill off there are always more waiting to drag you down and tear you apart.
