Since seeing your comment, I have really grown to love Freja. I used to think she was hideous and had a hollow face placed on a bag of bones. But I have completely changed my opinion. She's absolutely elegant, and one of the most versatile beauties, I have seen in years. She's plain, yet absolutely stunning. Thank you for your comment, and helping to change my mind about this beauty.

The main reason I like Chanel shows is the runway designs. They're always the best.

Karl's use of black never ceases to amaze me. It's really so chic no matter the textile. He just makes things work so effortlessly in such a dark way that I can't help but love it

Chanel always have the most creative and amazing stage!

this is the show that always gives me goosebumps. I don't think this is the original edit because I clearly remember the opening, when Freya walked to the center, there used to be a close-up shot on her face. Her face expression at that moment was the moment I fell for her. Anyways , this show is a piece of art and will never fall out of fashion. It's been 10 years and it's still one of my favorite Chanel show.

I love this. Monochrome can be so chic and not OTT (or funeral parlor) by simply mixing the textures and sheen in the layering. Another beautiful set too - very Icelandic.

about a dreamscape in a perfect setting.....like a beautiful nightmare.

Karl always makes sure that models would really walk. I mean look at the length of that catwalk! It's not like the ordinary length like the Prada or Dior. Chanel runway is a challenge to walk (for models) especially with towering heels! Lmao

The same thing as before this show, they are still 2 of the most in demand models during PFW & more so "haute couture week!" Longchamp, Tiffany & Co, David Yurman, Louis Vuitton, Balenciaga, Chanel, Dior and Maison Marigela are a few they both have and r currently fronting ad campaigns for and walking in shows for(those brands on mentioned who have collections). Aside from that they both are only seen rarely during NYFW, MFW & LFW. But are very present during PFW since this show👍👌😎🙃

I don't know why I had never seen this show. And I could have done without it. As a fan of Chanel, I can say this mess was UGLY! And as evidenced by the lack of dialogue here about CLOTHES but instead music and models and such---it must not have impressed most people. Very uninspired. Those pant lengths with those church lady pumps was hideous. I guess Karl gave everything to the Couture line and had no more energy.
