🍁 Fall Clean Up ~ On Mackinac Island 🐎

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Wow, we did it! Another year of fall clean up and winterization are in the books. It takes a lot of teamwork and effort to prepare the island gardens for winter! Now that we have all of the beds prepped, I can already see the spring blooms popping!

Although I understand the rationale for pulling out those beautiful annuals and cutting those hydrangeas, it was still ‘painful’ to watch ! What teamwork and beautiful videography with those drone shots ! ❤️🇨🇦

Crossroads Cottage by far is my favorite cottage....its my dream house all the way down to the color....I would never be able to own a house like Crossroads but I pray that if we have houses in heaven mine looks like this beauty. Jack never under estimate the power and endurance of a woman 💪 😃 🙂 😊 God bless you and your wonderful hardworking team.

As boaters we look up from the harbor at The island House, Brigadoon and these gardens are always stunning. The “cottages” and the spectacular gardens are two of the things I love the most about MI. I am so happy to have found you, Jack, and watch each video you create with awe. It always takes me back to a place we love, Magical Mackinac. This fall clean up video at Island House, and your prior ones at Brigadoon, has me very much looking forward to springtime to witness the tulips, crocus, hydrangea and ALL your beautiful garden glory. See you in the Spring 🌸 🌺

That’s a tough one! I’ve been there Spring, Summer and Autumn. All the seasons have their benefits. Spring is great because you see everything beginning to wake up, including the Islanders 😉. Also, pre-tourists it’s not crazy crowded and seems more like real-life. Summer is stunning and there’s a lot of fun to be had. Autumn is very well done on the island. Lots of beauty and a fun last chance sort of vibe. Far fewer people, lots of sales in the stores getting ready to shut down, and the Islanders come out and mingle with the visitors. The Island House has fantastic decoration on the outside. You’ve got to see that! 🕸🕷
