My favorite version of Rock Me Amadeus is the English version with the history lesson in it. That was the one I always heard on the radio back in the 80’s when this song was at its peak of popularity.

Es kommt mir so vor als wäre das Lied für ihn geschrieben. Ich meine er hat auch mitgeschrieben. Der Text ist irgendwie zu Perfekt, aber ich warte dann immer so, ich bereite mich immer so vor, wenn er so verückt wird, besonders bei Live Versionen. Dieses Ohoh.. klingt so gut, es hat mich erst mit 12 Jahren so wirklich gepackt und Heute höre ich das Lied auch sehr gerne. Jeden Monat bestimmt so paar mal.

I just want to remind people- has anyone ever seen a thumbs down for this absolutely ahead of his time old soul-creative force? Museums to him in Vienna? The U.S. ,as paltry a butt-kissing festival it is,should welcome him in to the R&R hall of fame, or better- have a retrospective of the '80's he helped shape,on U.S. soil. I'd love - hell wed welcome- someone like him in S.F. but like most mislead mismanaged artists of the time, he thought the world revolved(after his red,white&red Austria) around l.a.&Hollywood( yuck,such a posuer-town!!! Bucket -ville) . He truly should have been in NY performing screw stadiums in the small clubs we know&love in San Francisco, & we would have flooded the gate (Golden) to see him. He could have filmed a video dancing across the Golden Gate- what a sight!! & Performances around San Francisco & new York,smallish clubs- oh. Fantastic!! We'd leave a plaque for you too- probably on market or a club you loved most. New York,too !! Falco- why? But we still LOVE YOU , wish I could have seen you if you'd only have come to San Francisco, but still- you need an honor done in the U.S. ,for you. We LOVED you then,now & always.
