She definitely died too young but she was 52. Born in 1952 and died 2004. Crazy to think it has been almost 20 years now.

This IS the best remix of Self Control. Cover versions never get it, remixes have never gotten it. Self Control is legendary, but tricky. You can't change it too much. It's a song meant for its time. And you can't remove Laura's vocals. No singer could or would replace Laura... not because of Laura's obvious strength. It's emotive... Laura just got it! It's HER song! It will always be her song and THIS is so worthy!!
