He discovered this song 3 years before he died in 1987..I was only 20..He died on August 26..and I was looking up EVERYTHING on Laura today.. It gave me chills up my back when I saw that she passed in her sleep of a previously undiagnosed aneurysm at 52 on August 26, 2004...I truly don't believe that's a coincidence.. My Daddy brought me here to show me that his favorite artist also passed on the day he did... RIP MY precious Daddy and Laura.. I don't know what made me come here today.. But here I am.. bawling at the state of the world now vs then... :::Deep, deep soulful sigh:::

This song continuous to blow me away all these years later. I enjoyed it as a kid in the 80s, but as an adult this song and video have taken on a whole new meaning and depth. Laura Brannigans voice was so beautiful and her version of this song and this video is so stunning. This video calls to a place I think we all hide. I love it!
