FakeSteel Testing Round 3: Heavy Metal [LARP sword review]
Спорт
I decided that one and a half, kinda two, rounds of testing wasn't enough. I wanted to push the sword a bit, and the sword pushed back! This is most likely the second to last round of testing I will do on FakeSteel's swords.

It is quite cool to see Czech LARP weapons in America. Good luck to you and your testing! :3
Yay
How does the crossbar hold up of the blade slides down? Are you worried that they might snap off?

It's honestly generally rigid. Far stronger than the calimacil ones. It could absolutely stop a shot at its base and only slightly moves at its furthest point from the center. It is a bit hard and almost feels like the same material the pommel is made from. 100% structurally sound throughout my testing, though I'm unsure of some games will be afraid of a non malleable cross guard.

@@Rob_IE I am personally 100% interested in a non malleable cross bar

@@zamoutague199 You can see me wiggle the guard a bit at 3:31 actually. It may help you get a good sense.
Can we use it in an american or canadian larp? with more solid hits on each other? I know that europeans hit less harder so they have harder weapons. Is it soft enough??

This one is actually now softer than others! It's on the same par as calimacil so if your game allows those, I am confident it will allow fakesteels as well.

In Czech we definitely not hit less hard. And FakeSteel has two levels of hardness now. "Czech" and "Rest of the world" foam. :-)
