I would never buy an expensive item from them. Not after I was able to spot a fake LV online from their photos. It was so obvious.

Bought over 50 jewelry pieces all REAL. Got independent appraisal on everything. I'm loving them.

I have never seen such a shameless company. Last June, I mailed and consigned more than a dozen pairs of brand new BOTTEGA VENETA shoes to your company. All the shoes have the original shoe boxes and labels, as well as the 5 handbags I sent over. I bought them from the Woodbury Outlet stores myself. And then, all the items were seized by you! I have communicated and pursued with you for nearly a year, submitted all the proof you requested, I spent a lot of time to get the receipts just for these items because I have tons of receipts on hand. It turned out that you refunded me a handbag ONLY, and told me that the other items were sent back to me last year. EXCUSE ME? I haven't received any of my items. When I questioned them, I was told that my items were not genuine. I have already contacted the sales staff of BOTTEGA VENETA and had all the receipts reprinted for all my purchases!! This is The Real Real, the most shameless gangster company in the world! I will do whatever it takes to make you accountable!

They grew too quickly. Not enough qualify staff to authenticate every item. How shameful!

This is the first report I’ve ever seen that didn’t say Louis Vuitton was the most produced fake bags.

So sad to hear this . It definitely shakes your trust in that site. When Chanel sues you for selling fake Chanel , that is the end. Because Chanel knows their own product and can therefore distinguish a Chanel from a fake .

I don’t trust authenticity to be guaranteed when a company has that many items...you know good fakes will get through and after hearing this and knowing they don’t have properly trained staff they’ve proven that to be true. When you’re spending that much money you shouldn’t have to worry about whether it’s real or not...

I've spotted Fakes of YSL Gucci AND Prada's, I let them Know with Item Numbers and they Literally did nothing. I watched the fakes stay up for weeks and Finally sell. Some poor soul bought a Fake and thinks its the 'real Deal" Granted i've seen and Bought (75% off!!) items from there that looked good enough that Id Figure they were Real. When I get them, they were such a good fake I couldn't tell from the High res pictures. and standing next to the real thing, Not a clue. Felt, looked, and acted like a real Prada shoe. Fakes like that are HARD to spot and even a trained Person Could miss them, and even then, when the item is Brand new an excellent fake will command a 60% price. whats also Interesting is its Either 3rd Shift work (B grade) or Extra Factory Capacity and is technically "real" But was just not giving the branding of the A grade item.

U can't tell the difference between mirror quality and authentic. It looks 99% n no matter how hard u try it's HARD. That's y buying fake bags which value will go down is good. Buying bags like Chanel who hold their value is an investment cuz u can resell it n that's y u should buy it real

I saw this last night, and immediately emailed the Real Real to refund me. They were able to give me a refund for a Chloe handbag because the order had not yet ben processed. I will visit local consignment shops and never again online!

eBay is cheaper, I’ve always got my money back if it’s fake/broken. Plus, I usually get to keep the fake item if it’s from Japan/China. So I’ll just keep being a risk taker off eBay 😂🤷‍♀️

this website is honestly 50/50, many people are getting counterfeit items but i ordered a used pair of fear of god military sneakers for $350, as soon as i got it i took the pair of shoes to 6 different shoe authenticators and they all said they were legit. this website isn’t 100% authentic but they do have many authentic items, but you gotta be careful

I bought one piece of jewelry from their site last year, got it and looked faker than a Walmart $5 ring. I returned it right away. Never again. Got charged around $70 for transaction.

Perhaps solely working with outlets in Florida for left over goods from authentic boutique stores would solve the problem.

The are overpriced for extremely used items. Saw a LV mini pouchette that is $350 new priced for $545

Was it a part collaborative collection or vintage? Could be rare therefore making the value go up overtime even if it is used.

So this woman was mad about the scarf being mis-tagged? Loro Piana said the item was authentic but had the wrong tag on it...what on earth does that have to do with TRR?

Because they made her think that the price was high, so she had to pay a high price for it. Instead it was the price of a coat. Example if they say you get this scarf at 50%, she paid too much cause the scarf is probably worth 10%

The scarf might be a defective, considering with wrong tag and no fabric label. It doesn’t worth that much if that’s the case.

They are a scam. Sell fake items and list items as wrong sizes. Not slightly wrong. like shoe size 6.5 vs 10. and then charged me to return the shoe after THEIR HUGE MISTAKE. Please I know it seems like a great deal and like you are finding beautiful items at a great price but it is not real and worth the headache. Please please please listen to my advice as I wish someone had told me before I spent my hard earned money. I was so excited and wanted this to work out so badly, now I sincerely hope this company goes out of business to avoid scamming others. Apologies to anyone who has to deal with them, including their own employees.

They just sent me a fake bag that I paid 2,354 for. even after I showed them all the evidence they told me its the correct bag and to send it back and charged me a shipping and handling fee

This company just sent me a some beautiful boots. The only problem was that they don’t match, as in different boots. Who sells mismatched boots. Obviously they are not checking.

@@vanessadavis5771 My bank charged back the cost. TRR paid for shipping to return the boots. Nothing for the hassle, and I had to leave a bad review to get free shipping, otherwise it would have been 12.95. I don’t like their business model so will never buy from again.

I have bought and sold many bags and shoes from this company. I have been very lucky so far.

I only purchase jewelries with 18k, 14k hallmarks. No bags, no shoes, since these products are famous for fakes. I'd say overall I have very good experience purchasing gold and gem jewelries from this site.

They racially profiled me at their soho location. I could’ve gotten better service at the Chanel right next to it.

They are total rip offs. Their consultant came, took my items snd left with no list or any idea what she took. I told her I need an idea of what they would price it at before listing them. They already sold my stuff and I need to wait 45 days to get paid!!!!!!!

I used to worked at their warehouse in SF around 2016 before they moved to their current location. I was told then they were not making any money, then were 2 owners, the current CEO blonde lady and another brunette lady possibly Indian or middle east decent.

They have a good refund policy if u you like the item you can return it.

They do refund your money and shipping when you have a valid reason to return an item.

The Real Real is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I’d sooner throw my money in the garbage before ever giving them one red cent of my hard earned money ever again. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Why is this company still up?

I have ordered many beautiful designer shoes from them at reasonable prices and if they are fake, I would see they are made exceptionally well. Not that I want to purchase fake designer goods.

I bought two dior bags at therealreal 2 years ago, I am in Paris for vacation and I wanted my bags to be checked by a luxury bags specialist, yesterday I went to see a special in the very chic Paris neighborhood Saint-Germain des-prés , The guy at the shop told me I think your bags are fake, I was really shocked, so I decided to see another expert in Paris who are very well known, it's called the Drouot house, they told me to leave my bags with them 10 days to check so I'm waiting... I've already contacted the RealReal who don't seem to want to refund me

Well I've been had. I had not done my homework beforehand and went ahead and placed an order. Among my order was a Jimmy Choo bag with dust bag and authentication card. However, no authentication card was in there. Also a pair of Chanel pumps with supposed box and dust bags but that is clearly not what I got. After I 'chatted' with a customer service rep, she said she would send a 'request' and someone would get back to me within 24/48 hrs. I wonder how that is going to conclude. Needless to say that I feel so ripped off and angry. At the price point that I paid, I could of purchased brand new mirror quality fakes and still have enough money left over for a family meal.

My bf bought me a Birkin from TRR and the Hermès flagship in the Houston galleria authenticated it and assured me it was real. Birkin’s are definitely TRR’s top priority when it comes to authentication.

I have bought there and I have had a great experience. I would generally always stay away from commonly faked items. Shoes are a hot commodity being faked. Purses have been faked since forever, also. But there’s good brands that aren’t commonly known but have amazing products and you can find on a good price. Any product that is commonly known such as adidas, nike, chanel, LV, rolex etc I would stay away especially if they are more than 200$. Even good authenticators can be duped by excellent fakes which can be almost as expensive as retail.

I wouldn't use the website simply because they called themselves the real real. They have to take the comment section down on anything they post too because they are berated with comments about how ghetto and dumb it sounds. We aren't in the movie Cloud Atlas and Tom Hanks isn't spouting about the true true.

I bought a dress. It arrived ripped, and then I had to pay to return it. Also bought a pair of "Burberry" sunglasses and the sunglass case was missing letters on it. Never again.

Really love *rrcopys* 's wallet. The fabric is fine. Gold touches add a nice touch. Perfect for when you don't need tote size. I got some compliments when I went to church

Imagine all the fakes being sold on Poshmark as real that go through poshmark headquarters..people are banking and scamming.

This is the worst company out there. I tried to sell the Balenciaga hourglass small handbag crocodile embossed in white with silver hardware this past January 2023. My husband bought for me November 2022. I wore it once I called in February to see the bag online and to my surprise the handle had a huge scratch across the top. I was mortified I have a sample of the pictures I sent to the sales girl Sent them to the company and showed them that they scratched my bag. They said nothing. They tried to sell it online for three months and nothing lower the price two times I asked for it back. It came in the mail just today my handle all scuffed up. I literally hate this company. They are a scam. They are evil.

Authenticate nothing! My bag was real from Saks Fifth Avenue in San Francisco. THEY scared it!!!

I just got a fake $5000 bag from TheRealReal. The minute I opened the box it was screaming FAKE!!! The bag was listed "Unreturnable" it was a serious joke!!!! You don't need authentication because its just fake straight out!!!
