I’m impressed that they were honest and gave the veggie items a fair shake and didn’t just blast them the whole episode.

Spencer is crazy to spring these mystery challenges, I must admit he is very creative! He was extremely brave to shop at a market where he could have been spied on (or he was savvy enough to go to another town)! I had to replay because of laughing through it!!! Charlie was priceless... can't fool an old dog!!

But would die of starvation before I would become a cannibal or eat my own heroic, ferocious gigantic dog, that actually saved my dumb 14 year old ass from a NOT false charging momma moose. I have been false charged many, many times, so I know the difference. She was out for blood. Skookum actually saved my life. c1972. How many people do you know that can say that? He and I went on to many other adventures together. Skook lived to a ripe old age, and died on Kodiak island. Our dad, Vern, (Welder, first class, USN, blue water Navy. USS Jason, Google that, Korean war,) buried him on the Coastguard base and wrote on his tombstone 'Here lies a courageous dog'. Last time I visited the grave was 2013, when we lost our father. There was already some old plastic flowers, left by some animal loving coasties. 🙂❤ Peace out, and Godspeed. Ya filthy animals.

I appreciate the unbiased taste test considering you guys obviously advocate meat, you still gave truthful opinions. I think that would definitely be the best way to conduct such experiments with integrity and honesty regardless of predisposed opinions.

As a friend of PETA (that's People Eating Tasty Animals) I heartily enjoyed this video! The fact that the dog didn't want anything to do with the bacon is a sure sign. I think the only way I could possibly handle the impossible burgers is if it was drenched in toppings and condiments. and by then why bother? Just make a salad with ketchup and mustard. Anyhow, I am enjoying your channel. Just found it today, what a way to start off the new year! Subbed and liked.

Great video! I have a few health issues, so my doctor said I needed to eat more vegetables. I told her I eat them at every meal. So she asked what I had for breakfast, I told her bacon and eggs. She asked were was the vegetable, I said corn. She looked a little confused so I explained. The pig and the chicken both ate corn and I ate them so in a way I was eating corn. She didn’t see it my way.💁😂😂😂

im a meat eater, and love it, and dont knock on vegans unless they are trying to impose their values on me... That said, mad respect for giving it the shot you guys did. You totally just proved my upbringing of "you cant say you dont like it until you at least try it" like champs

Even if they could perfectly replicate the texture and flavour of meat, they can never ever recreate the perfect balance of bioavailable vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, fatty acids and collagen.

As an ex plant eater turned carnivore about a year ago. I don’t miss that Frankenfood 🤮. I now work in the meat department at my grocery store and LOVE IT! I would love to become a meat cutter someday. Never going back! ❤

@@TheBeardedButchers I love smoked wild turkey, the meat, not the sweet whiskey.(I'm a bourbon man) I'm guessing you have a lot of them running around your neck of the woods. They are extremely hard to hunt here in western Washington. The undergrowth is formidable. So I mostly go to eastern Washington for them. So that's my suggestion. Film a Turkey hunt, process the bird, and show how you like to cook it. Very strong turkey flavor that some do not enjoy. I happen to love it.

As a very recent veggie,I appreciate this very much. I know it's a lot of fun to make fun of veggies and vegans but I hope sometimes it's remembered that certain health conditions can limit your diet in a lot of ways. My nephew, for instance, has PKU. I was always veggie by choice (from age 11 to 42) but after a recent medical episode of my own, I'm now incorporating meats into my diet. I never disliked the flavor and textures of meats so when the "fake meats" became popular the last decade or so I found many to be s suitable compromise for me, so that my food was more filling. This is a great video, thanks for making it! :) Edit: I forgot to mention that Gardein brand fake meats are SUPERIOR to MorningStar and Impossible, just saying. I really like their variety too, although some of the textures can be a little "spongy" at time. It can always be hard-fried for a slight improvement. 💖

I tried the beyond beef burger and had the same reaction wasn’t bad but tasted off and didn’t taste exactly like beef like everyone says. Reminiscent of beef but if you told me it was a beef burger I would’ve said it tasted weird. The chicken nuggets taste pretty mush the same but chicken nuggets are super processed anyway so makes sense (interesting how it held up to the whole meat chicken nuggets) Appreciate the honesty in the reviews!

This was a comical video especially when the dog wouldn't touch some of those 🤣, however I don't know if I could have tried that plant based food product. Thank you for trying it for my wife and myself.

Although I occasionally do a meatless Monday,(ovo/lacto, lots of butter and eggs. I even get raw milk from a Mexican friend, here in western Washington, who inherited the dairy farm. He said he couldn't believe his good fortune. I told him it was because he earned it, mi amigo.) because in olden times, sometimes the hunter came home empty handed, as do I, and had to eat what was gathered, it really is a no brainer. There really is no comparison. 🙂

I'm not one of the Butchers, but am a hunter. I always save the heart, (slow cook, cut into steaks, grind it, very versatile). I have saved liver in the past but am not a big fan, though some really enjoy it. Kidneys are another that I don't enjoy but others do. The caul fat that holds the organs in place is nice to wrap around steaks or roasts as you cook them for flavour, but is almost inedible itself. If you're feeling adventurous, the testes make some great prairie oysters too. Hope this helps!

I save all the awful organs from my pigs and deer, I chop it up and put it in the food I make for my dogs. They absolutely love it. Homemade dog food I make has rice, animal proteins, carrots, and eggs.

I have to upsize grinders using these diy kits is much more satisfying than I imagined however my grinder is the hold up on me doing even more. A good food processor works well for grinding if you have one. That's what I used for making hamburger, sausage, etc. Before I bit the bullet and got my 1&1/2 h grinder.

Came here after hearing about these guys from Brock Lesnar on the Pat McAfee show. Only 40 seconds in and the use of the Minecraft drinking noise (been playing a lot recently) has already made me a fan XD I think the dog is the best show. The veggie stuff in general is ok, as shown by the fact he'd eat it after a sniff or two, but the real deal is vastly superior, as shown by the fact he instantly ate it.

Chicken jerky video would be awesome!

I tend to eat both meat and vegetarian options. I found that things like sausages almost always have some weird taste that is supposed to be "meat flavor" so not a fan of those. However when I need ground beef I have no problem substituting it with a vegetarian option. I might be lucky with the brand I can get but the Quorn products are actually pretty tasty. If I take something vegetarian/vegan it is from them. The bigger brands like Unox and such (I live in the Netherlands) are a no go for me.

We've seen some comments here that it may have something to do with how it's cooked.

Morning star bacon looks like Beggin Strips and taste like beggin strips might tatste. I actually like Impossible and Beyond burgers. My son will pick those over ground beef burgers if it’s an option. Haven’t found a vegan nugget that doesn’t taste like sawdust.

What is he thinking plant-based foods give me a break I say is that my family did not spend the last 200 years fighting and calling our way to the top of the food came for me to be a vegetarian not gonna happen on any level of the playing field Love your guises show keep up the good work guys are awesome.❤

I work in a distribution center for a membership warehouse company. I was clamping a pallet of Beyond Meat burger patties, and one of the packages broke open. The smell was disgusting. When I was a kid, we played baseball on a diamond near a Purina factory where they made puppy chow. That's kind of what those 'burgers' smelled like.

I'm vegetarian. Very glad to see you liked the burgers (though I do like the morningstar black bean ones better than the impossible/beyond). May have to check out the nuggs since I haven't, even though I didn't like real nuggets much either. Impossible sausage is the fucking worst! I don't think you had that but try the "field and roast" kind, the texture is quite off but sausage is one of the easier ones to fake since it's so processed to begin with.

This was hysterical! Even the dog won't eat some of this stuff and he probably eats horse poop!
