Thank you ! Oh really? I think it has been my approach to decor at least since I'm a child, when I want something I do it, it's faster and more efficient and I'm sure I will like it :) You are very kind, glad you found some inspiration !

Your castle is always charming🩷 you are an artist and your home reflects you brilliantly. Your curtains are exquisite like every thing you touch. Truly enchanting 🩷 your spring painting is perfect! I started in January with upgrades adding an armoire to my living room and added several antique mirrors in that room as well as other rooms. Added some art too. Then painted kitchen cabinets and added new rugs and art to bathrooms. Architecturally my home is a colonial / coastal style while I am absolutely Edwardian and Regency at heart. My home is a long work in progress. Here in Virginia USA we have screened in porches which are necessary because of insects. I was born and raised at the beach in Southern California we don’t need screens there. My project today is to help my husband re screen our porch. We have had rain too and now very hot weather so I have been planting Jasmine vines and roses in my garden. Thank you for always inspiring me with your gorgeous art and enchanting home.

Yes! The curtains do add to your fairy tale ambiance! They are beautiful. And they enhance the sheer curtains as well. (I always admire those wispy, lovely sheer curtains at your windows.) Hi from Brazil again. Following your advice, I have bought the tin can version of that tea, and every time I drink it it reminds me of Paris and of you. Before anything else, I am a cis male, an art collector and quite into home decor. The only difference is that I am more into the 19th and early 20th century. I try to make my home a small enclave of Art Nouveau and Deco, but can totally relate to your 18th century vibe, which I am very fond of. Keep up your great work.

The curtains looks amazing. I don't know if you should make another for each side of the window. I love the lace curtain. And your very quick painting is beautiful. it is like spring. My house is not looking like a castle. It is more a country house, brocante or vintage and i love to paint my furniture white. Not everything is real white, it looks white, but some chairs have a little green or pink in it. I still have to paint my living and sitting room, I hope this summer. But I love your fairy castle. It is amazing.

I love doing pastel over watercolor wash. Nothing mimics human skin like pastel. The curtains look great. I love the opulence of the heavy curtains.

Yes it's very true, pastel has something unique that no other art supplies have, I also like the fact that it's dry already and for portraits and skin and even some fabrics like velvet it's really wonderful. Thank you! yes heavy curtains are just real castle curtains to me.

Yes it's also very convenient and easy to attach them adding or associating them to other curtains , and it's also a nice detail I prefer them to any modern metal holes or rings. Nice if it inspired you !

J'adore your new curtains. So exquisite. Also, changing your winter scene to a spring painting is very clever and turned out beautifully. I recently got an unusual dark wood finial with a copper topping from France through Etsy. I imagine it came from a beautiful french chateau. I wished it could talk. I also like getting romantic paintings in ornate frames whenever I can afford one. A beautiful spring scene with a white flowering tree is coming soon from the Netherlands for my kitchen. I can hardly wait. It's always fun and inspiring to visit your beautiful home. ❤

Your curtain fabric is so beautiful and the height of the windows is stunning! I need to paint my kitchen and bedroom once it warms up and organize my art supplies as my space is limited and everything is crowded in a closet which means I don't end up using anything 😊

NEVER, Never, never wear slippers on ladders or step stools! So many people lose their lives at home due to injuries from elevated heights from slips, trips & falls... Always use laced footwear on ladders & stairs. BTW...you apartment looks BEAUTIMOUS! ❤️🙏

Oh my! My first time here. I have met a kindred spirit. I have been told,” You live in a dream world”. Well, maybe so. I live to create beauty. Started a cottage garden & have probably 5 flower arrangements i put throughout the house today. That really does bring magic to a house. I really need tall curtains but am clueless as to what i really want. I need inspiration. Loved your curtains with the tie backs! I see you use antique books for inspiration. I will go back to my collection of beautiful Chateau interior pictures for inspiration. I live in a hot climate so i need them to not be too heavy.🤔

Your fabric choice for the windows is beautiful. I not only like the colors but also the weight of it. My next project is to make curtains to use on a bookcase. you created such a beautiful world to live in for yourself. So magical. You are very different from other french young people i see on youtube or have seen in my trips in France. Usually, french apartments (apart from chateau ones) are very modern, as well as the french clothes for women, which seem too masculine and blunt in my opinion. But your apartment is feminine, beauty-full, as well as your clothes (it was so fun to watch your historic attire when you were hanging the curtains :)). I really love your vibe. My house is recently built, but is decorated as a chateau, with different toile de jouy designs, 18th century style chairs and sofas, lots of greenery plants and flowers as well as paintings i did myself or other painters (mostly flowers and landscapes). My palette is mostly pastels as i find it to be more serene.

Thank you !you are so right !!this minimlist modern trend overhere with almost no colours is really boring, especially in Paris and among Parisians, and Haussmaniens apartments in Paris but fortunately some French people are resistants and still value the past, the beauty of the past and some classic esthetic and beautiful colors and patterns. None of my friends who like or live in old houses like this modern french style but it's true in media it is everywhere. Glad you like my outfit! I promise it was quickly done and with pastels it's even easier ! :) it is a painting called la Balançoire (not super easy to find thoughmany others have the same name but it's not this painting) by the painter Fragonard, and the book is about his paintings you can find similar ones in english mine was the one by Marie-Anne Dupuy-Vachey still available on Amazon.

Thank you, no they are not wide enough to completely block the light unlike teh other curtains I have in teh studio and in my bedroom which are super wide, this fabric came with a more narrow width, that's why in the future I might add a second one with another fabric for the winter season.

Suite à notre déménagement, j’ai découvert l’existence des doubles tringles à rideaux qui permettent d’avoir en même temps un voilage et un rideau et de les ouvrir et les fermer indépendamment… une révolution 😂 peut-être que chez toi ça serait une bonne solution aussi ? On trouve ça partout, je pense.

Your video was the delight I needed today, so thankyou. It’s also been very rainy here in Australia where we are now in autumn. The curtains looks lovely. What type of fabric did you choose? In some shots it looks like a cotton and in others it looks like a satin brocade. Whatever it is looks wonderful.

Thank you, glad it was what you needed today! we must have a similar weather , it's constantly raining too here, it's a sort of Jacquard fabric I bought it here : www.papintissus.fr/produit/tissu-jacquard-baroque-or/

The White Cat ? where did you see one ? The deer on the wall comes from my fairy tale home decor workshop learnthemagicofpaper.com/p/fairy-tale-home-decor I bought the paper 8years ago and it is not available like that anymore, they had done a cheap new version of it which is very different from the one I bought 8 years ago.

You're welcome Deborah, I bought this wallpaper 8 years ago and unfortunately when I tried to repurchased it last year the quality and beauty was completely gone ,its now a cheap quality but expensive paper basic boring paper, mine had beautiful mettalic silver and gold reflection which the manufacturer doesn't do anymore,.It's not teh same paper than the one on my walls.

j'adore cette époque et le fait que vous fussiez touché par cette époque , ce bon goût ; quels sont les titres de vos livres , le grand aussi ...votre intérieur est très beaux , bien personnalisé . j'aime cette époque , je ne me plait pas dans celle ci ..;bravo de vos trumeaux .pouvez vous portez en dessous des sous tire en français , merci beaucoup

Please when you climb a ladder be careful about your footwear. Fluffy slippers with no back on them are extremely unsuitable and dangerous when climbing ladders. ❤

Lovely. Please don't wear slippers to go up a ladder dear! Very dangerous...I care and use to work for Health & Safety so I immediately got concerned. Full, covering shoes only pretty please. A concerned viewer in NM, USA
