Wow, wow, wow! That v8 supercar is a million dollar superbeast which sounds and performs amazing (unfortunately kind of turning into nascar lookalikes I thinks). However, seeing the F1 car passing, dropping waaaay back then re-passing the hefty v8 so effortlessly was just next level. I now have an appreciation of the multi million dollar super machines F1 cars are. Thank you team RB for this, and thanks to SVG and Dani Ric for displaying their talents.

I'd love to see F1 racing in Bathurst for real!

The track is only built for endurance racing and not for Formula 1. The elevation changes and the fact that it's a long circuit would heavily damage these modern F1 cars. Oh and fuel would also be an issue.

Imagine an f1 race in bathurst... yes it would be the most unsafe thing ever but seeing all the cars go around the track would insane

Type of street race F1 need to push alongside with Le Mans.

My one of absolutw favkrite race tracks. This track has its great soul, it is alive. It is epic and breathtaking.

That's exactly what I thought immediately, I drive this route often, it's crazy how fast they cover the distance in reality. The film "Le Mans" with Christian Bale features the track "Willow Spring", which can also be seen in Gran Turismo 7.

I drive the track a lot in Gran Turismo 7, it's just crazy how fast they drive along the track in the video.

You can tell with your ear the F1 car is going like 60% throttle and choosing bad race lines to make it entertaining 😊

imagine that the v8’s are about formula 4 (actually formula renault 2.0 and is the match) pace if not less on tight tracks (mount panorama is a bit fast )then between each formula it’s a massive difference in pace.

i think 30 to 35 seconds would be about right. Jensons lap was stll only a demo lap - really not pushing flat chaff
