We all think we can find a solution to human problems that are so inherent in our DNA that it's practically part of being a human in the first place. The solutions people think are so obvious have still never worked without putting guns to people's heads and even then the problems persist. I always find it funny when I complain about traffic because I realize it's 1/10,000th my fault too. I was traffic the whole time!

@@scruf2002 the reason I was kinda unhappy with the ending is because I really connected with the Elliott we saw which ended up not being the real Elliott but just some personality that had took over and then we don't even actually get to know what the real Elliott is like. So at least for myself it seems like a slap in the face.

It would also be impossible to know somebody is not their original self unless you have met the original personality or the personality came out at all. Seeing as elliot was already trapped in the his own mind when mastermind was coming to krista she could of never known

I agree totally. I think the rather creepy conversation with Tyrell's wife in Season 1 may have been meant to foreshadow this. The way Tyrell disappears hints at him being more of an elemental being than a physical reality and that supports the idea of him being one of Elliott's personas.

I'm rewatching everything again and I don't think a show like this can ever be made again. It's just on another level about everything, but the psychological and personality disorder part is impeccable. Can't wait to see what Sam Esmail is manufacturing now.

I absolutely love Rami Malek’s performances. From super awkward, disturbed geniuses like in Mr. Robot and Until Dawn, and then strange, eccentric characters like in Bohemian Rhapsody and Night at the Museum (I know right, I forgot that he was the pharaoh in that too 😅) . He is my favorite young actor of this generation.

1:43 This seriously resonated with me. I really think that Elliot's speech speaks great truth about the problem with humanity being self domesticated. People are generally too timid and afraid to confront apparent problems or come to terms with the ugly truths of how the world really works. Society engineers conformity so that it's citizens are way too frightened to undertake any action that might not be approved of or be shunned. Society's members would much rather be locked in their own comfort zones and spend the rest of their lives in passive numbness than do anything that might be risky or "strange". It's sad and discouraging that everyone else including me doesn't want to oppose a system with superior resources and manpower and prefer to stay hidden in obscurity.

Just like a table is an emergent phenomenon of countless of atoms in a certain order. Dont think of yourself as anyting special just do what you want, nobody is really stopping you..

In consideration of recent events what he says at 0:45 "scratching that part of my mind again" is actually quite interesting. He also says this to Ron in the coffeeshop at the start of the episode. Both times he uses this phrasing when hes talking about pedophiles, as we later also find out that Michael Hansen has a thing for young prostitutes. Super cool to see these things from season 1 matching with the recent info about "that part" of his mind, which we just got in season 4. Hyped to see where all of this leads

"F*ck Society" quote still hits me hard and has an impact. Even though it's a simple quote, I think it's one of the most iconic ones in TV history.

I want to unsee this series and live through it again and again. Those monologues hit me hard Man!!

4:17 - that transition with that unsettling soundtrack is the moment you know the show will be truly special.

It's so insightful comparing their first session with their last. Such an amazing character development for both of them. At the end of their last session therapy (S04E07) I just discovered that my father abused me. It was a breakthrough to Elliot and me. That hitted me like a fucking truck, crazy. I have a very special fond for this series.

I love it how they show us how everything was created around us and how the illusion works but people still think this is just a show🤣

Man this show is so in details ..they even talked about gnome KDE ...love how they accurately portrayed everything..

What makes this super brilliant is how Elliot looks at the objects around the room and fits it in to his monologue. Dude is wicked smart.

Base Linux is just the kernel and doesn't offer any command lines to enter any information, a shell needs to provide that such as the Bash or zsh CLIs. I watched this exact video last year. I didn't know about MR Robot before. I was intrigued by the storytelling. Then I watched the whole series.. This is ART. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.

Knowing the ending, it makes so much sense. I think the real Elliot was there at the beginning with occasional Mastermind's take over. Just like the "fuck society" monologue was from the Mastermind, the angry Elliot, but when Krista asked him again, the real Elliot came back into presence. Slowly, with time, the Mastermind took control of the whole body without us or Krista even realizing it.

I think the Mastermind's first appearance was when he thrashed the server room in his job before AllSafe. We then see it taking over for a bit when he put on the FSociety mask in a flashback with Darlene. But it completely took over at the beginning of the series, we as the viewers are a personality the Mastermind created to be able to vent with (and Mastermind is the only one that talks to us except for Mr Robot on S4 because he was the closest one). The real Elliot doesn't know us

Actually Tyrell's problems started when he became batshit crazy and married another batshit crazy woman. That's the reason he talked to Elliot in the first place.

Just finished the show. So well done. I miss these early scenes.

Possible spoiler I like how Elliot says she's bad at reading people, but at the end she could see something that was under his nose and he didn't notice it.

One of the best shows of all time. Couldn't believe it, it got better, better and better.

This is the clip due to which i started watching the whole series! I dont regret a bit about it.. Every minute of the series worthed it 🔥❤️

i just finished this show and i love it. it's so compelling and it grips you with all of it's hands. i love the fast paced scenes, they have me on the edge of my seat

captivating series. and if you have or want to get a glims of what its like talking or being social with others while being on the spectrum, this will really shine a light on it, a tad overexposed but true none the less.

Best lines in TV history. Thanks to USA network to bring such a beautiful show. I'll miss all that.

Everything he's whats wrong with this world is 100% accurate.. and the worst part is if you actually say those things to an actual 'Psychiatrist/Therapist', they'll just throw anti depressants at you and think ur 'crazy'

Have no fear, unless you have excellent insurance, you won't be able to afford therapy anyway. Same with drug treatment. That stuff is only for rich people.@@ashdonsimmons01

Watching this for a second time, there's a bit more depth to this that meets the eye.

He's not hiding lady, he's trying to protect you from how shitty the real world is.

I like coming back to this clip. Sometimes it feels satisfying hearing Elliot spitting the truth about the way we live.

Logical characters with emotions bursting out of the seams. Emotional characters with logic driving them to the brink of insanity. Everyone is cracking out!

Anyone who watches this show, please rewatch it. You have no idea what you missed on your first watch

Yeah, I saw this too. It probably means he actually WAS at the party as Mr. Robot, and left his Elliot persona outside the door as he went in. He wasn't lying when he said he went to the party.

I love the therapist's role in season 3

At the job I currently work out we have free therapy, and it’s funny that I’m bringing this up because I told my therapist about this scene and this how I view the world genuinely and see through everybody’s bs in an instant or how the world runs and we think “we are safe” and I was told there is nothing wrong with it it just means your forward and a realist about the situations about the world. Idk I thought it would be a cool thing to share since 2 things were very parallel to my actual thinking
