Thanks for the tutorial, learning this lovely aircraft at the moment. Never really got into DCS even though I bought a few modules. Always found it too hard and with my job I can't dedicate every day to it, but that resulted in me forgetting all that I learned. Till I discovered the F5, saw a bunch of videos and took the trial version. Now with the sale happening I instantly bough it and loving DCS now! Great plane for beginners like myself.

Nice intro! But the saturation made me think my TV was broken just for a moment 😄

7:55 "Nork America!" _~TP 2022_ NGL, I was never able to see the targets until they started burning, even with zooming in. Compression FTW. I guess I'll stick to WWII style though, works well enough for me :) - though I might add that I've got tons of practice through the old Il-2 in that.

I wish this thing got the mavericks it deserves.

Excellent video, can you make something similar with mi8 ?

All you hear about the F-5 on hoggit is the bugs. This surely stops a lot of people from buying the module which is sad because I can't imagine my decade of DCS without it. Such a great aircraft! The intro is missing flaps on takeoff? Nonetheless, great content as always.

Yea that’s all I hear so I refrain from buying it. But it seems pretty serious to have so many game breaking things not fixed for 5 years

@@RW-zn8vy they're not game breaking though. I've done entire campaigns with the F-5, bugs are just annoyances. VFR and in combat it's awesome

Would be cool to see this in a popup attack. I usually fire off a salvo from the seat of my pants while dodging AAA. Might try low ingress and quick popup like this as long as no MANPADs

what buton is fire it

A good question. if I am launched an active missile (amraam, phoenix, R77) how is it reflected in my RWR of my F-5? with a letter M? Because since the missile has its own radar, I don't see the enemy plane. Many greetings from Chile.

You will first have a lock indication, unless they are close enough to fire Maddog. Then you will have an M. However, you may still need to switch between RWR modes in the F-5 to see if you’ve been locked. (Not flown it in a while)

Need to clear something up. Are you rolling in with just rudder? I gave that a try and just ended up in a skid…
