No it's not lmao, even without drop fuel tanks, it's still quite heavy and clunky, the only reason we see stunts performed as they are is due to the thrust vectoring. Gripens, Eurofighters, even the F-16 is more maneuverable.

Oh you would be amazed, they are actually limited more on what the pilot can take then the actual air frame. I use to live right beside Tyndall airforce base in Florida where they train the pilots so got to watch them go through low speed maneuvers and then high speed stuff over the Gulf. Nothing like a young flight jocky pulling a sonic boom on the deck a few hundred feet away from you and waving then go vertical and just turn into a dot in the sky or watching the really new guys going full flaps and wobbling as they do super slow flight.

The f-22 has thrust to weight of like 1.25, so yes it can climb like that. It’s deck speed though idk. It’s stated it’s top speed is mach 2.25+

@@dondelchulia3189Ya it’s top speed at sea level I believe is Mach 1.30+ and at altitude Mach 2.50+ but it’s an artificial limit to so that the stealth paint doesn’t wear off

Thrust to weight is 1/1.25 without external fuel. In a vertical climb it would actually increase speed until roughly 30,000ft were the engines start losing thrust due to lack of air pressure. Top Speed at altitude: Mach 2.50+ Top Speed at sea level: Mach 1.30+ Max Range: 1,800+ Miles ( Most of the specs on the F-22 are classified so these are rough estimates and these planes have an artificial speed limit so they don’t wear down the stealth paint )

Поверь, это так. Суть 5-ого поколения не в стелсе, а в двигателе. Ф-35/22 умеют вот так летать как летающая тарелка. У российского Су-57 стоит двигатель от 4-ого поколения, поэтому он так не может и вообще я не пойму почему он считается 5 поколением. Сильная технологическая отсталость Путинской России не позволяет повторить двигатель американских пятерок. Есть планы только попытаться сделать это к 2030 годам, но это не точно. Там видимо все как с Арматой.

By the looks of that roll rate it still needs work

I always try to test these models for the war thunder website and I put the folders in the correct spots, but it always faces me towards the ground and my game crashes. Is that normal or is there something I'm doing wrong?
