Unfortunately this is a pretty common misconception about the A-10. Sure, it has been known to return to base with a lot a components heavily damaged but with one wing? That's a stretch. The airframe doesn't provide enough lift to be able to function with only one. However there have been cases of F-15s being able to fly with one wing, as well as being more likely with the F-16. This is possible due to the airframes of those aircraft creating way more 'body lift'.

Yep, it's designed to fly on one engine, half of the tail, one elevator and half of a wing missing WT often lets you land with half of the wing cut off so all good there

@@chrisrosales4268 You're right though that's not what fly by wire means Fly by wire system means that pilot's control inputs are converted to digital data, the data goes to the computer, computer interprets it and sends the signal through wires to hydraulic components instead of pilot yanks on the stick and physical steel cable yanks the rudder or pushes liquid in a hydraulic pipe like in props And you're right that A10 can fly without hydraulics irl, it can disable the fly by wire and go oldschool via cables and pulleys like ww2 props, guess gaijin just didn't model it cuz it happens to me as well, one hit in hydraulics and plane becomes a brick Maybe balancing, maybe bias (cuz su25 eats 300 bullets and keeps flying), maybe lazy, who knows

I realized something: You buy a sixty dollar premium, which is sometimes a straight copy and paste of a free vehicle or a slightly downgraded version. You then use this to grind for the upgraded 'free' version, which ends up having less income and more repair costs. Amazing.

The SU25 is actually so frustrating. Almost to the point I wouldn't play at the BR if not for the fact that most SU25 players are god awful at the game and give easy kills.

I really enjoy both premium and normal one, especially firing 30mm GAU 3km away from head-on. 30mm GAU really goes far, fast, and straight.

@@HenryMH. To be fair, they can be outfitted with a2a capabilities. Considering the performance of modern a2a I don't see really how any airframe is better than another (with the exception of stealth technology and boiling down to whoever is in the seat) because most of these missiles are nearly impossible to avoid. Electronic warfare helps with neutralizing SAMs, but every plane is at a disadvantage to IR, semi-active and active radar missiles.

@@EncrypticMethods You also need speed. While it can be given A2A weapons and what not it's just not designed for that due to it being so heavy & slow. So, it's not really made for A2A. It is just so slow in real life. And let's not forget, WT bumps their speed up by like 30% or something considering on how it is in real life.

Nah that is because the premium A-10A is fully spaded, and it only shows stock stats on the A-10A late stat card, when the A-10A late is spaded it has the exact same stats.

Most of my games in the a-10. Spawn. The rest of the server sees theres a slow a-10 and proceeds to all come and try dive/ strafe run me. I get 2-4 kills dodging headons with my aims. Su in my opinion. Given ive never flown it but having the speed and somewhat maneuverability to get to your destination or closer before being engaged is huge also those r60s are brutal
