@@raketny_hvost pro tip for fighting the 9L, assuming you haven't changed your keybinds, press R. the only time an IR missile won't follow flares is if it's already within about 500m of you cause the flares aren't going to have enough space between them and the missile for the missile to see the new heat signature. it's actually a skill issue if you can't avoid the 9L, especially considering the R-60M is the exact same missile with slightly less range, which doesn't change anything cause you're never firing the things at max range.

I love how you looked at the A10 and thought "You know what this flying cannon needs? MORE GUNS"

A10 in real life: Tanks a missile and limps back to base. A10 in War thunder: A single bullet hits your plane and rips you apart. The A10 in WT is less structurally sound than a granola bar sitting in the heat for 100 hours.

@@loc1123 Exactly. The su25 can litterally take a missile and be fine while the A10 looses all tail control after a single 50cal round

I love the A-10 Thunderbolt II, even though I never played War Thunder, I think it would be the plane I would use the most, but I imagine the price to get it would be high

I have the free one and it took 10 months basically a year but I don't play it very day so that why it took so long

A-10A/Late variants are actually great grinders Yeah usually you’ll watch an entire Netflix series before you start fighting but here are some tips if your grinding with either variant: - climb to 3000ft - then keep altitude and fight, once coast is clear, lower to sufficient altitude to bomb bases - take 2000x6 + 500SBx2 - best damage overall - the extra gun pods are usually unnecessary as your main 30 will shred through targets - ground belt is best for when enemies are not near to attack outposts/convoys but is still highly effective against planes with a short-medium burst - did you know, getting the talisman on the A-10Late variant gives more xp - you also get 2x more Aim9L’s - only disadvantage is that you’ll be at a higher tier - although this won’t change much as the A-10 Variant is usually uptiered If your struggling with A-10, just leave a comment and I’ll ask away P.S: you only need to take minimum minutes of fuel as the match will only last around that time and by changing engine outputs that you may not realise in close quarter combat will definitely apply (Don’t worry that your the slowest, because ‘The tortoise 🐢 wins the race’

oh as an A10 player thats grinded most of the tech tree i think that the 2 missles 6 2000 bombs which you only need 3 to get a base usually and either 2 500s or 36 small rockets for ground pounding

Before the big maps the a 10 was such a good grinder I grinden from nothing to the F4E and now with the giant maps everything slowed down but it's still alright

Yep as the other guy said, RP is primarily time based, Silver Lions are action based

A-10 is amazing because its like a tank, dive bomber, bomber, strike craft, fighter, jet all in one

Ive been gone a while from this game and came back for the event, did they change the reticles? I feel like the guns are always aiming under the reticle now and my aim is off by that tiny reticle suzed amount, whereas before i left i had godlike aim to the point i thought it looked like i was cheating

im currently doing this same grind i might do what u did and use the a10a

i personally don't carry bombs or 20mm cannon just 9L and AGM65 gau8 is enough for all amored target like light pilbox and heavytanks and please use ccip for cannon

protip if you want destroy bases with 2000 lb bombs you need only 3 to fully destroy base in br 10.3

This 100%. Wait until the next patch. F16A will be researchable before the ADF and the ADF will be researchable at half rp. And according to some data mines the F16s will get their G-Limiters removed in the next patch as well.

Based on personal experience A10 is a Goat, but that’s only cause of the mounted nose canon and air to air missiles. In arcade battles its really hard to win with it
