RDA Security teams are just mercenaries with outdated equipment compared to Earth's active military forces (of course, it is still more advanced compared to 21st century military but other than AMP Suits, Dragon Assault Ships, and other VTOL aircrafts, I don't think their equipment are that much superior compared to modern day military.) I mean they still use ammo similar to NATO and Warsaw back in 20th and 21st centuries. Also, their aircrafts' speed are about Apache level so if Earth's military decides to bring jets and other heavier artilleries with more manpower, Eywa and Pandora won't last long. And let's not forget nuclear arsenals.

@@garammaru3272 But is it worth it? The RDA and the company are just that - a company. It's not some national force. They're exploitative plunderers, not actual military that's making a war. A PMC and a private company cannot just declare war on a whole alien planet, nor could they use weapons of mass destruction.

And in the story, earth’s nature is already destroyed. Pandora is the only habitable planet other than earth, there is no way the humans would nuke it, even for national force

This scene has always been so emotional for me. I always tear up when I hear Neytiri scream "Eywa has heard you!" with such emotion in her voice. Just a beautiful scene.

If this is true, then the military capabilities of Eywa should not be underestimated.

Earlier when Grace died, she said that Eywa was real and passed while connected to the network of vines or whatever they were. How much you want to bet that Eywa learned all she needed from Grace about the threat to the planet posed by the humans. So she alarmed the wildlife of the danger and sent in massive reinforcements to aid Jake and the others.

Some lazy Deus Ex Machine bullshit. I was rooting for the marines especially the badass who at 1:03 dodges one and slams its neck with the gun killing it before going down but taking a second one with him. That guy is the fucking man.

When mother nature fights back, she fights with authority. Completely took over the battle.

I never get over this scene. It's so satisfying to see mother nature fighting back against people who try to destroy their world.

This scene always sticks in my mind, and it pays off because it is built to. We've been told all along how the creatures of Pandora are interconnected, that even the Navi are just part of something greater than themselves. Now we see that playing out.

I think Eywa was smart to only intervene as a last resort. She knew they RDA would be back, with bigger forces than whatever destroyed them, if they were still expecting to fight only the Na'vi she'd be able to win the next battle with the creatures. But now they know she exists, they'll be ready to fight her and the animals too.

OH MY GOODNESS. The CGI and blatant emotional reactions on Neytiri in these scenes are STUNNING. So much better than anything we've seen in the MCU

2021 I remember having taken my grandpa to see the extended edition with me. God I miss him. RIP grandpa.

I love how all of the animals look like altar ego versions of Earth animals. Like the Rhino looking creature, the black small jaguar looking creatures, the velociraptor resembling creatures..similar but alien, James Cameron is a GENIUS

When I went to the movie theater to watch this, I had the biggest grin on my face during this scene.

I love seeing those Titanopheres charging through the forest and just lay waste to the AMP suits. It's so satisfying to see the soldiers' bullets having no effect on the creatures' tough hides.

How can anyone not be dazzled by these effects? And how can anyone say the CGI in those Marvel Studios movies are an improvement on these effects?? Look at the emotion in Neytiri when she's getting ready to defy Jake and all good sense, and attack the humans. She is emoting so much and she seems real and alive, and yet she's technically a cartoon.

I can’t help but get emotional over her shouting “eywa has heard you” and that beautiful smile she gives at the end when the creature bows to her offering her a ride.

We don't, but that's part of the wonder. I would hope that it's AVATAR-based but they're evolved to the point of no war, no desese and no multi-races.

This is the first movie I saw when I met my husband in India. Whenever it plays, we both feel so happy but can not explain it. It’s great on its own .... something so special.

This scene was so unexpected. Just when the Navi thought they were about to renounce all hope, Eywa was like “Nope, I got a big ‼️ for you!”

"What does Eywa's heartbeat sound like?" "Mighty."

Let's be honest: this was avengers endgame before it was cool

When Neytiri shouted, "Eywa has heard you!" --I got chills even with the sound off.

1:15 his scream makes me laugh every time 😂😂😂

I can never get over the anatomy of some of these creatures, the viperwolf will always be my favorite, then the hexapede, then the banshee.

James Horner's orchestration for this scene is something else. Fits perfectly. Never get tired of analysing and revisiting the score.

Eywa knew exactly how to combat the humans. First send in tanks to take out the big machines then over whelm the rest with numbers via banshees and viper Wolves

Main Message of Avatar... Don't Mess with Mother Nature...

I didnt understand why seeds of holy tree are attracted by jake at the begining of the movie.... or the mother nature knows the future

The way neteri said ewea protects the balance makes me think she saw how out gunned the na'vi were and just leveled the playing field a bit, keeping the balance

Boy did I cheer loudly to that scene!! My brother didn’t even look at me odd he was waving and cheering too lol what a movie this was!

This scene is set-up much more epic because we don't see cheesy weird ass poses, nor is there that stupid time when the villains wait for the MCs to finish setting up before they attack. They both have the same method of trying to be impactful but this movie does it so much better.

Nah, the Na'vi sucked so much that Neytiri changed her skin's color to green and joined the Asgardians of the Galaxy.

A good example to always believe and have faith✅

A lot of people say how humans could easily conquer Pandora because the Navi can only use ambush tactics. I vehemently disagree. Because of this scene. It’s implied the entire planet is connected and can “think”. To fight it off you’d basically have to nuke everything you came there for in the first place. The Navi are closer to care takers and first line of defence. But as we see, that’s just the local fauna attacking, on a planet with massive amounts of life and biodiversity. Even in avatar 2, we see humanity forced to use their spacecraft to create dead zone craters to build their city upon. The entire planet is hostile to them, and it’s very unclear if a slow war of encroachment can win it.

i always cry at this scene. i mustve rewatched it a billion times and its not even like avatar is an art piece of a movie, it's just that eywa fighting back is the most beautiful scene ever and it will never not make me emotional

Dude same. No matter how many times I have seen it, it still makes me sob out of pure joy.

If only Ewya heard early, imagine. The Hammerhead Charge first, followed by the Horsemen archers and those lion things (can’t remember their name.) And then the Banshee riders shooting their arrows while the wild banshee just go batshit crazy.
