Often referred to as “Europe’s #1 Rock Show,” Countdown was on-the-air for 16 years (1977-1993), and was broadcast in 18 countries, making it one of the most successful music shows in the history of television.
The archive contains over 3,000 hours of musical performances, interviews and concert appearances by the greatest rock, R&B, pop, new wave and rap/hip-hop artists of the era, including: Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, U2, Michael Jackson, The Police, David Bowie, Beastie Boys, George Harrison, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Run-DMC, Depeche Mode, Culture Club, Duran Duran, Blondie, The Cure, R.E.M., and thousands more.

The whole album is a tour de force for Nuno. Every single song is full of guitar god goodness. When people talk about underrated guitarists, Nuno should be at the top of that list.

When I listen to this I always get goosebumps, chills and tears in my eyes. Music should always evoke some emotions but this reaches in and grabs my very soul.

Wspaniałe czasy starego dobrego rocka, gdzie nic poza wokalem i gitarą nie było więcej potrzeba. Żadnego pacykowania, udawania, plastikowosci, jak w dzisiejszej muzyce.

Nice song. Countdown was such a good show. As kids, we always made time on Sunday afternoons to watch it in Aus (from '74, til it finished in '87 and replaced with an inferior music show). Molly Meldrum was always an interesting host, introducing music from around the world to us - keeping us current.
