This turned out so well. And what a huge project. Cool idea for separating the windows. Kudos to you for wanting to learn a new skill. And you nailed it! Loved the blanket window covering hack!

Thank you! It definitely was a big project but I'm so glad it's finished and I get to enjoy it!
My mom had a saying when she was doing something for herself. “It’s good enough for who it’s for.” That always made me laugh.

Haha, I love it!!! That's the truth of it right there!
Thank you so much for sharing! It’s especially encouraging to me because, like you, my husband and I are not professional woodworkers. We learn along the way, and like you, things don’t turn out perfect all the time but we’re proud to be able to do it ourselves, Creating things that we wish existed! Thank you!

Great job and always nice to see “mistakes” because no job ever goes totally smoothly- at least not at my house- and makes it feel more attainable for the rest of us. Would love the link or info on the blinds you put up.

Mr. Dude (I'm old, I forget every 10 seconds) did a fabulous job! What is the material Brandon stuck into the gap between cabinets, prior to caulking??? You do tell us what the right color is? NOT Evergreen Fog (son's board + batten wall color), but: ... ?
@AngelaMarieMade
5 ай бұрын
Hi there and thank you! The gap filler used before caulking is called backer rod and the correct paint color is cornwall slate from Sherwin Williams.
The green is gone! Really like it was never there 👍
