It's so refreshing to see survivors who were able rebuild their lives after the abuse. I think the hardest part is starting to rebuild your life and personality after you have gone through physical abuse. I believe prayer is a very powerful way of getting strength to face the day. Things are just never the same again are they?

I don't really know? It seems like it's gotten worse , not better. Domestic violence, child abuse , murder DUIs kidnapping held captive. I seen one or two, of two young children abused by family member months of abuse or more, taken away, but foolishly listened to the wrong people, the child taken back to the abuse only to die , there are others,. Buy point is I don't understand why they took them back,. The abuse continued after being taken back to the families. These lost souls will never go to school, never graduate , never anything because of the child service division. Not mentioning any names, but one judge was very, very angry at the parents and child service division. I know these stories are horrific and nightmarish. But it's too l prove a point. Then domestic violence,. Covid , 3 victims of husband murdered, because of the covid. My thinking there could have been better chances of getting away from each other. With one of the sadest domestic violence is the victim recorded or live stream her murder . No matter how bad or how good, staying home, drive each other crazy .y opinion is that maybe they should have went and visited people, problem is lock down social distancing,. Plus not leaving home could have saved them ,. I think two victims, died on social media. You are supposed to love someone. If there was the point of being able to go see other family or relatives, may have saved them. This video, and the one I seen a few days ago? Child abuse , the other was done mostly by the step father. It just disgust me for hearing these violent acts

She is right about the judgement, happened to me. The abuse is bad enough, yet, to have judgement from your own family. Education is the key, victim blaming is wrong. Am glad u are here to tell your story.Stay safe and strong.

It's the reason why I refuse to tell my family about it even though I have had therapy. When they ask me why I say I suffered enough I shouldn't have to put myself in a position that is only going to make my life harder and cause more problems. In some ways I am lucky my family haven't demanded reasons why despite me being housebound agoraphobic, in other ways it isnt helping me being around them it's too much of a crutch and they dont want to let go..... it would be worse if they knew and they would use it as an excuse trying to not let me make my own decisions for my own life despite being in my 30s. Nope not going there, not going to let one abuser be replaced by another imposing their will on me... nope nope nope, I survived too damn much for that

Leaving is the MOST dangerous time because the abuser needs this person to abuse. A plan must be put in place FIRST and there are facilities that can make this happen and she can then rebuild her life and also undergo a program that takes you step-by-step through recovery which is NOT a magic wand, but time and new thoughts creates a new path.

Yes, it's going to be hell and allot of drama but if something happened to her and her children, I wouldn't be able to live with myself, knowing we did NOTHING!😪

It really truly honestly does aggravate me to the point of where I would love to have answers that I didn't receive but I felt entitled to know . I went through 2 very horrible abusive relationships in my entire life . You probably think how could that happen ? Why ? When I dated them at 2 separate times, 2 differently named men (1 that I knew that I was married to & divorced ) . The other I dated, he died of cancer,by no fault of mine . The men never ever showed signs of being controlling, abusive, hateful during our earlier relationships . Once I was with them for any length of time you could say that they hid it from me . But much later on the controlling, abusiveness, hatefulness started .1 of the men laughed at me when I even tried to tell them to treat me right or they would end up losing me . The police were never ever helpful when I spoke of a crack pipe that he had . Meaning they wouldn't check it out . I had no reason to be a complete liar ! If he would've killed me as I see it they wouldn't have given crap about me !

If you or anyone you know is experiencing domestic abuse, you should REPORT it! It is VERY important that violent treatment of humans not be ignored, nor go unreported. Both the victims and the abusers need help to resolve the issues and change their behavior. In some situations there results a death or a damage that is permanent. There should never be shame in getting help for domestic violence and or reporting it. Without records the abuser may go on to beat on other people and or may kill someone. Report Abuse. It can change a life, it could save a life. It is the right thing to do, always.

This young lady is vivacious and friendly ABSOLUTELY beautiful, she's a loving educator and the staff and students love her the same.. She's a shining light.. He has already completely moved her away.. She has gotten involved with someone who is charming on the outside and has the darkest soul on the inside.. God please keep her!! I don't know how or why I can see it and it seems no one else does.. But y'all something is not right!! I just wish I could speak to her but how do I get her to listen.. Then he twisted the skin on my arm (like a donkey bite), I left him within 6 months as I caught him with another woman in our home. I guess the things to look out for are red flags like my ex was lying about his own whereabouts and was jealous. I was apparently flirting with his guy friends etc. At least now I know what to look for and hopefully find a genuine nice guy 💚 I hope you have found peace and belonging in the world again. Xxx

The violence usually starts after the abuser has isolated you from other people. People see what's happening but dont want to get involved because it could make it worse for the victim. Everyone judges victims s of abuse and they dont have the right. They dont have the right to say 'why didnt you just'. When you have no one to talk to who can you go to? There is little evidence so you doubt police will do anything... it's just he said she said thing. And when it does get physical you are thinking if he did that over something like reading a book what is he go na do when I kick him out? How will he try to kill me next time he gets angry?

Stumbled upon this video researching for early signs of emotional abuse. Worried about one of my friends. Her boyfriend was apparently upset because she was taking her time deciding on whether or not to move in with him and during an argument over text messages, She apologized for not being good enough for him, he called her an f word lying b word and then told her that if she said whatever she was trying to say one more time that he would shoot himself in the head right in front of her. I know that grown people will do what they want, but I asked my friend to please try to first of all NEVER tell anyone that you are not good enough for them, put some distance between she and the guy and to not put herself into a situation where she could possibly be harmed. I was thinking that if he is serious and not just using emotional manipulation and they are one day in an argument in person, he could possibly pull a gun out and not only harm himself but her as well. I advised her to please slow down, talk to a therapist, be alone for a while and work on building a stronger her. I think my friend feels stuck and is so eager to be in love and have the love that she feels that she needs that although she states the person may be emotionally abusive, she ignores the behavior. I mean in all honesty, I would personally never want to be involved ever again with someone who threatened to kill themselves in front of me. I am sure there have been more instances of this type of talk and demeaning her. Sadly, I believe that she has now moved to the same town where the guy lives and is possibly living with him. I really pray that she will be okay, but I am so afraid for her. Did I give her the wrong advice to not walk but run away from the relationship, to slow down and seek out the right type of guy? I also told her that no matter how angry someone gets with you even during arguments, mentally healthy people would guard her heart and feelings and never threaten to take their lives.

I wish there were more places for victims of partner/spousal abuse to stay. Right now there’s not enough safe spots to sleep or relax in order to get away from abusers for most men. It’s the streets for many males, and abuse shelters are non existent for them. Every single safe house has been quickly erased from the map if it’s for males, and the founders disappear. You couldn’t get me to sponsor one of them houses for a million bucks. I wouldn’t get to spend it. Screw that. That’s financially and spiritually unequivocally lucrative. Go Rocket’s!

Dont sabotage yourself. Await justice by responding with happy days and lots of fun recovery and healing. It may or may not come but thats on them if it doesnt.. Leave stressful professions and relationships where people intentionally keep u confused and guessing regarding emotional support. That is what i truly believe now knowing how people intentionally give victims nonanswers in a highly strategic and coordinated way meant to keep you guessing and confused. Until one day PTSD hits and you are out of their control...Switch is off.

With so much awareness about domestic violence, you'd think that if someone punches a woman in the face, she'd run for the hills and never look back, but Rihanna has taught us that many women will gladly take a guy back even after he punches them in the face. During an Oprah interview, Rihanna cried and said that she wants Chris back even after he punched her in the face. This twisted female behaviour is hard to understand.

Joseph Bishara The abusers groom the Victims before they ever hit them. Leaving is the most dangerous time for a victim to leave as the abuser feels they have nothing left to lose and will stalk or threaten the victim to regain control

so you find the 'twisted female behaviour' of not wanting to leave someone you're emotionally attached to hard to understand but yet the twisted male behaviour of beating the crap out of a woman who loves you is understandable? Interesting.

Did you know that the one thing demons hate the most is the rosary. In every possession that was done by priest they asked the demon what they hated the most and it said the rosary. Mmmm. Im not saying he was possessed but a demon just the same. Evil

Blah, blah he was controlling from the beginning. Gifts to sweeten the meat for the beating. There was signs she ignores them and I'm willing to bet coming from Houston he had a criminal history. She playing it down to look bougee and speaking to the public so she can get away playing victim. B. S I don't feel sorry for them kind of women. He was a narcissist and she gave him the power to be comfortable.

Facts💯. Hell, first question the interviewer asked was foolish and the reason why these females always get played. They shouldn’t be observing how the guy treats THEM during “courtship” (if courting is even still a thing)...of course he’s gonna treat you good, he’s wants something from you, everyone has representation when meeting someone new...meaning they never show who they truly are. What ppl should be looking out for is how their potential mate treats others around them. That’s a great indicator on how he will possibly treat you when the “new car smell” wears off. Like you said ppl miss signs early on because majority of ppl esp nowadays are enamored by the external aesthetics of others and/or how tough or outgoing someone is and then confuse the dopamine spike they get by putting Mr/Ms “10/10” on a pedestal as love and affection when in reality it is......NEWSFLASH, infatuation and codependency. P.S Another tip for you ladies...“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” If he abuses you be it physical, emotional, mental etc....it’s not love. Be safe
