Don't be afraid to remove it from the packaging if you suspect that there's mischief afoot. Definitely don't wait 2 years to test suspect gold, no chance of a refund Best way to make sure you don't get scammed, buy from a trusted dealer.

The color still looks the same from being scratched; however burning it looks different.

Really annoying that you can't hold the bar still. Constantly moving it so we can't see it.

It is frustrating that not all bars are in veriscan packages. And the serial number is useless, bc you cannot track anything on the official website. Very easy to get fake bars this way.

Kuwait puts a mark on all the gold and this mark is done by laser and it is very difficult to imitate it

The thickness is a dead giveaway that its fake

Am always paranoid that if i sell legit gold bar to someone he will replace it with a fake one and accuse me of selling fake, any idea of how can that be avoided?

Buy gold bars in sealed packaging with paperwork, individual serial numbers on each bar and intricate designs to dissuade forgers. Also a contract between the buyer and seller before walking away would preemptively prevent any future disagreements.

I could tell immediately that bar is super thick. Ten gram bars are thinner than that

If you don’t want fake shit don’t buy bullshit from eBay that simple 🙄 as old as eBay is how do people not know that by now lmao 🤣

Please dont burn unknown metals in the fire in your house. Quick tip: NO 5 gram pamp gold rbar is going to be that thick.

If one occasionally buys and holds for long periods of time probably the best option. If one does so more often then with experience and equipment then the risk reward ratio may change.

That bar is real small its not as if you. Really lost out the biggest problem is all these people that get fakes are usually looking for an unbelievable deal just buy the damm thing from a big company and pay the damm premium and quit being a penny pincher.

Or just buy real bars to begin with. When you buy fractionals in the gram variety, you're getting your O-ring blown out in premiums. Save up a little longer and buy heavier.
