Exposed Root Battle Worn Red Maple Bonsai
Ever had a bad day?! Well I lost all the audio for most of the footage. Just went to the bottom of the ocean. So I just went full pirate theme with a touch of Jaws. This Exposed root Red maple has had a battle scared life and it's still has a long road but here's the first step to getting it ship shape again.

The production quality is on point, and a musical score to boot!! I love the randomness of ur videos. I came for the bonsai stuff, which is great. But subscribed because of the obvious EFFORT you put into your videos, not many KZread channels have the “polished” look like yours. The video with the turtle eating some banana is randomly my favorite one of urs. But the quick easy way how to make bonsai grow boxes has been the most valuable……

Nice to see a native used as bonsai. This one has some character for sure 👍🏽 I've got a few saplings for future bonsai about .75" thick but it'll be a while for them. Also the pirate theme was entertaining 😆

That's the plan in the future as well as a few drastic cuts, but for now I just needed to really get a repot done.
What type of soil mix did you use? It looks great
