How does you move up in the weight if you does not increase weight periodically and only pump yourself up. I want strength to back up my arm muscle. Is this supersets considered progressive in resistance? It seems to be pump up to show off muscles like they do backstage at bodybuilding contest. I want to move up in the weights I use gradually if slowly. I want to see thats weight go higher as I get stronger, not just show. How best to achieve this?

  • @PaulSklarxfit

Dude, sorry to hear about the wreck! Yes, I have experience working with people that can’t use their hands. We typically use bands, like Therabands, and tie them to the wrist or forearm. You can also use Velcro attachments that attach to cable stations. They velcro around your wrist or forearm and will hopefully allow you to do biceps and shoulder exercises. Hope you heal up quickly. Hang in there💪🏼💪🏼

I started with 20 lbs. and ended up with 40 lb. curls with fewer reps. But I still go back to 20 lbs. for other exercises for deltoids and upper body build for arms and back. Be careful not to overexert on higher weights. Full curls then lift straight up like a clean and jerk lift.
