Embarking on our dream of full-time travel has made this past year truly incredible. We've had the privilege of visiting breathtaking destinations that were at the top of our must-see list. From the tranquil Inn Town Camp Ground in Nevada City to an enchanting desert oasis in Arizona, our journey has been filled with awe-inspiring moments. We even discovered a river-view RV resort with a hot tub right on the beach! One of the highlights was hiking in the majestic Rocky Mountains National Park, where we witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence. Along the way, we enjoyed comfortable stays at the Three Rivers Casino in Florence, Oregon, and experienced the magic of free camping deep within the lush rainforests of the Olympic Peninsula.
Throughout our travels, we've come across some truly remarkable overnight locations through Harvest Hosts. These hidden gems provided us with free overnight spots at wineries, museums, and attractions. We particularly cherished our stays at the Rocky Hollow Buffalo Company and the Blue Heron Cheese Companies parking lot in Tillamook, Oregon. These unique experiences allowed us to indulge in local flavors while enjoying the freedom of life on the road.
In addition to exploring beautiful places, we've also had the opportunity to attend extraordinary events. The Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico, left us in awe as we witnessed the sky filled with vibrant hot air balloons. Another memorable gathering was the un-gathering of Skoooliepalooza in Blythe, Arizona, where we connected with like-minded travelers and shared stories of our nomadic lifestyles. Along the way, we stumbled upon remarkable camping spots such as the Oliver Lee Campground outside Tucson and the Gilbert Ray Campgrounds near White Sands National Park. These serene settings allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature.
As we reflect on this amazing first year of full-time travel in our converted bus, we are filled with anticipation for the next 365 days of adventure. We look forward to sharing more unforgettable moments, discovering hidden treasures, and forging lasting connections with fellow adventurers. Join us on this incredible journey as we continue to embrace the wonders of the world.

Guys jump the border into Canada eventually. I did a rail tour from Vancouver to Halifax (which included the Rocky Mountaineer, and it IS a trip of a lifetime). We travelled from Australia before my mum passed away and I didn't want to return, hospitality of the people all over was excellent. Scenery just absolutely stunning!!

Of course you have influenced us. After seeing the Whale watching video, we drove up to Port Townsend from out home here in Shelton, WA, boarded the "Red Head" and enjoyed that day trip. As for Lake Tahoe, you MUST spend a couple of weeks there. Even with 2 weeks, you will barely scratch the surface. Our family had a home built in North Lake Tahoe back in 1971 with a spectacular view of the lake from our deck. Sadly, we decided to sell it around 2010 due to some family problems, but going there during the Summertime was great. I agree with you decision to look at states such as Washington and Colorado. We both worked, grew up, and lived in CA from birth to our retirement, but realized moving out of CA gave us an instant 7+% raise. We still do have family there, so we return for very short visits. Thank you for your videos on locations, bus stuff, and the people you meet. I will most likely be in Quartzsite, AZ in January during the RV show week. I usually camp with the ham radio crazies down at the BLM Road Runner area. Hope you might be able to make it. TONS of stuff to see and do.......Russell D.

Come to New England during the spring, summer and fall. There is a lot of history and depending on the time of year beautiful sights. I'm in Massachusetts and leaf season is a beautiful time of year to visit. Something to remember is the USA started in Plymouth Ma. At Plymouth Rock where Chris Columbus landed and found the new world. And if you are in Ma. at Halloween time you must check out Salem. Lots of history to be seen and experienced. If you come in the summer time then Cape cod or Rhode Island would be awesome to visit.

Suggestion - BC and Alberta - the Rocky Mountains and the Mountain Parks. Banff is BEAUTIFUL, but it's also a well-known Tourist Trap. Lake Louise, Jasper, Yoho, Glacier/Waterton International Peace Park. If you like the Mountains, we have LOTS of them! And if you come here in the first week of July - don't miss the Calgary Stampede - it IS the BIGGEST PARTY IN THE WORLD!

You need to visit the west coast of Michigan. Grand Haven north up to Traverse City. You will find the Lake Michigan coast better than the Pacific coast line. Checkout Mears, Michigan for the sand dunes and lake. Enjoy us in the summer, spring or fall. Skiing, snow machine riding are great fun in the winter; sorry Mela.

If you ever make it to Florida I recommend St Augustine. The history of the city is amazing. It will definitely be too much for one episode. Charleston, South Carolina is very good as well. I did like the Skooliepalooza video.

Hi. We follow you from Australia. After watching your episode at the Hot Air Balloon Festival, we thought, wow that would be cool. So earlier this year we went on a road trip and stayed at a Hot Air Balloon Festival in Australia. It was amazing watching the balloons leave where we were staying and they would go right over the roof of our caravan. Love your videos. 🙂 (and love your cats 💕)

There's no denying the California is beautiful and it is diverse but those are pretty much the only things that did has going towards it there is a reason why flocks and flocks of people are moving out of California. Being beautiful and diverse doesn't make up for that fact.
