In our quest for seeking out a more healthy and sustainable lifestyle, we made a plan that includes zero waste living, tiny home living and full-time travel. We considered buying an RV, looked at trailers and airstreams but settled on doing a bus conversion for our off-the-grid, tiny house on wheels. We bought a 1996 MCI 102 D3 coach bus and with the Bus Demolition and Interior Shell complete, we turned it into our Tiny Home on Wheels and are now traveling!
Some links are affiliate links and at no cost to you we may get a small commission that will help us cover the cost of travel.

It's nice for someone helping a bus 🚌 built
The best feeling in the world is paying it forward
Have a safe trip back to Indiana, from a fellow Hoosier.
Always good to pass on your experience
Very nice that you could help with the plumbing and solar.
For some reason it's always easier to go hard on someone else's projects than our own but, thankfully, it's also great motivation to get it in gear for our own too. So much fun working with other bus lifers!! Great video! Can't wait to rejoin the rehabi-tribe!! Lots of love from OK!

Glad you enjoyed it Celina! Looking forward to having you back in the Tribe
It’s great to see bus builds again. Hopefully we can get some more in the future.
I'll be right there. I've been trying to build out my short bus, by myself. It takes a lot of time. Don and Mela, I'm going to track you guys down. haha Great people working together
I saw some Tibetan prayer flags in his bus that’s Awesome ❤❤🎉🎉🎉
That's what I love about the nomad community, everyone comes together as a family. Thanks for sharing this journey with me. Safe Travels Always Everyone. God Bless Y'all. Mucho Love From Your Friend In Michigan Tam 💜💜💜💕

What a fun group of people. They remind me of people from Austin, TX!
Hi Mela,Don, Pizzicato and Mr SweetFace ,it was nice what you did to help Tray ,thanks for sharing stay safe
Hi Mela and Don. It was great to see another bus build coming tomorrow. Also passing on knowledge you learnt by trial and error or from friends who taut you. Tray's but is looking good and total different from your one. It's amazing how interiors can look so different at the end.
Great to see everyone coming together to help someone out. Great job! As always, thanks for sharing.

Awhh.. I really enjoyed this episode. It brought back some nostalgia of you working through your build. It's cool to see how much you learned through your build and your ability to adapt it to others builds. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to see what enhancements you're going to complete on your own home.

That is awesome!
Vote for Don. But now he has to deal with any bad decisions that he made. He just wants to make you happy, Mel. 😊
Hey good people. I'm always eager to hear about Buses visiting Indiana. I have been watching Bus Builds over 5 years, And I haven't seen any of the ones I follow on the road. Actually, I rarely see any conversions here In Indiana at all.... I know some are stealthy, and don't have a lot of markings. But I'm always on the look for them.🤩
good to see everyone helping with the build, it must have brought back so many memories for both of you. Have a safe journey and a wonderful week

It maintains the water temperature.. it heats hot water to maintain.... 🤔

What was the reason for not hanging the hot water heater in the garage area ?

We haven't worked with propane before so Trey's uncle was the one helping him with his propane set up. Sorry I don't have a good answer for you, but we just left that up to them to decide.
Watching this bus build is fun to watch but the music in between chats is way to loud and frustrating to watch this as I'm going to watch this at a later timee.
Just the right amount of wrong going on.
trey is a total stonner...just saying..
