Exploring street food in the Far East of Russia 🇷🇺

In this video my friend Zack and I are going to explore street food in Khabarovsk! One of the main examples of Russian street food is shawarma, and in fact, it is a Middle Eastern dish. In the 1990s, shawarma was considered an unremarkable food sold in train stations and markets. But in modern Russia, it has gained particular popularity, and now you can see it literally at every bus stop. It even became a meme in Russia. So, in this video we will walk throughout the city in search of my AirPod, the best shawarma and even its Khabarovsk variation, cheesurma.

What American propaganda about Russia? America is not a communist country or an authoritarian dictatorship like China and Russia. There is no US propaganda against Russia or any other country. We are a democracy with a free press that generally reports the truth and what's really going, corroborated by the news in other free, western countries. When the US talks about Russia for example, they're not talking about the citizenry, about the the people. They don't say "BREAKIN NEWS: The "people" of Russia have invaded Chechnya, or the "people" of so-and-so country did this or that. No, it the governments, of course. Make sense to you? The Russian people are intelligent, artistic, funny wonderful people, but the government not so much. The only propaganda machinery out there is Fox and right wing media. The information is out there. Among all the BS, the truth and real knowledge is out there for everyone to access but sadly most people prefer to stay willfully ignorant and get their education from KZread videos. We will never have nice things, ever.

the country is so huge, but the english speaking community is so small, I think I now have seen 5 youtubers from Russia who all have visited each other in some video within a year, despite sometimes living 5000km apart. (And since the war they now all live in other countries) I hope you all can see each other again someday, maybe even a reunion with all of you once it is peace again.

We have it, but it doesn't differ from ordinary shaurma and costs a bit more, we also can add some extra ingredients into shaurma like cheese, holopeneo Peppers or caucasian adjika... Maybe a local shaurma with some extra slices of cheese looks like your Chizurma 🤔😊
