Guided by Mr. Fady and his team, devout Coptic church members we are #inspired by the faith of Saint Barbara and the vibrant church community. Stepping inside, we are greeted by the soft glow of candlelight and the melodious strains of #coptic_hymns enveloping us in a sense of reverence and tranquillity. Amidst the scent of incense and the murmurs of #prayer we are reminded of the timeless bond between faith and art-a bond that has shaped Egypt's #cultural landscape for #centuries
Yet, our exploration of Cairo would be incomplete without a visit to its most #iconic landmark-the #pyramidsofgiza. Emerging from the dusty horizon like ancient #sentinels these majestic structures have captivated the imagination of #travellers and scholars for millennia. Approaching the Great Pyramid, we are awestruck by its sheer size and symmetry, marvelling at the ingenuity of the ancient Egyptians who constructed it over four thousand years ago.
The following day, with our bags packed and spirits high, we make our way to the nearest metro station, boarding a train bound for #ramses #railway station. Departing from Ramses, we embark on a scenic rail journey to #alexandria our next destination in Egypt.
