#egypt is a fascinating land with a unique #history , #ancient #civilization and deep-rooted #christian legacy. It can be said that Egypt is an #epitome of #heritage. This #documentary will give you a glimpse into the present and past of Egypt. We begin with the #saints Simon the Tanner #monastery and then explore the #coptic Christian community of #garbage village. These villagers’ lives were #transformed by the #power of #gospel shared by Abouna (means father) Samaan Ibrahim in 1970s. It’s truly incredible to witness the work of God’s grace in people’s lives. The magnificent Cave church, carved out from the Mokattam Mountain, features depictions of #bible stories on its walls. The giant carved stone #cross inside the church stands as a testament to the faith of the Coptic Christian community. The Hanging church is another marvel to witness. We conclude our journey with Abu Serga Church, the place where Joseph, Mary and baby #jesus stayed for three and a half months.
