As dusk descended, a leisurely stroll through the local #market invited a glimpse into the city's vibrant culture. The following day, a visit to the #saint #mark Coptic #orthodox Church gave us insight into the Christian #heritage from the #faithful disciple of jesus, Saint Mark, the evangelist who was #martyred for his beliefs, to the 2017 Christian martyrs who died in the suicide bomb attack in the church by radicals. It provided us with courage and determination in #christ resonating with #egypt's ancient Christian heritage. The Graeco-Roman #museum offered a captivating window into Alexandria's illustrious past, blending Christian and classical influences.
The journey culminated at the iconic Alexandria #library a beacon of #knowledge echoing the city's intellectual legacy. With hearts and minds enriched by the blend of Christian history and coastal marvels, we bid farewell to the ancient coastal city of Alexandria, Egypt, and returned to our home.
