Exploring A Book Off Super Bazaar In Tokyo Japan

Hi guys!
The other day, I stumbled upon some amazing figures and other goodies at the Ikebukuro Book Off. Intrigued, I decided to explore another renowned Book Off location. After some research, I discovered that Book Off Super Bazaar ranks among the largest second-hand stores in Japan.
In today's video, I'm taking you along on my visit to the Book Off Super Bazaar in Tachikawa City, Tokyo which is relative close to my house. Join me as we delve into the store to uncover cheap anime figures, retro games, phones, cameras, and other cool finds that might catch your interest.
I have included some prices converted from Japanese Yen to US Dollars, so please use them as a reference since the values may change over time.

Cool vids. Just some feedback. The music is good for an intro, but the incidental music that is scattered throughout kinda takes me out of it. Just better to have the ambience of the store and people speak for itself. Makes a more enjoyable and chill vid. Unless that was playing in the store.

Bro I’m planning to visit japan should I consider buying a ps5 from this store i mean is this trustable?

  • @4kjapanspace07

Hi there! Regarding your question, I would say the following: 1) Buying second-hand items like consoles from BOOK OFF is trustworthy since they check the console and usually indicate any malfunctions or important information, such as warranty, on the price label. 2) If you have the budget, consider buying a new PS5. The current exchange rate of JPY to USD and the tax-free option can make for a good deal. 3) However, if you find a PS5 in good condition and at a good price at BOOK OFF, I recommend carefully checking the price label and its information using Google Translate. Also, ask the store staff any questions to ensure clarity. BOOK OFF also offers tax-free options, so you might find a great deal there. Sorry for the long response, but I wanted to make sure you have all the information you need for shopping in Japan 🇯🇵.

Are the stuffs in Bazaar Book Off cheaper than normal Book Off store? Thanks!

Hi! In my experience, Bazaar Book Off stores can sometimes have lower prices than regular Book Off, especially for bulk or clearance items. However, it varies depending on the specific items and location. It's always a good idea to check both types of stores if you're looking for the best deals. Thanks for your watching!

Do I have to get a Japanese number to use transport services or will they be able to take the number of the hotel?

Hi! From my understanding, you don't need a Japanese phone number to use transport services. All you need is data or a WiFi connection. If you need to provide a phone number, you can usually use your hotel's number. I hope you find this useful! If you provide more context, I might be able to give a better answer. Thanks for watching! I wish you the best stay if you're already in Japan.
