Yes, wear blue or dark grey. If the event calls for black tie wear a tuxedo.

Proff, when you say shorter (regarding height) what do you classify as shorter? I am 5'10" and quite well built/muscular. I do not think I am very tall, but I am taller than a lot of my peers as well at the same time. I adore the aesthetic of the 6 button double breasted jacket configuration. Would that not be flattering on someone of my height? I also have a 51" chest, so I think it might be fitting to try to "down-play" the thickness of my upper torso. Great information as always! I love this channel, one of the only channels I subscribe to.

Thank you Lawrence. What I have on is a CLASSIC Navy Blazer not a suit top. It should of course be worn with Odd Trousers. I am wholly against breaking up a suit. It’s not a good look I agree. PROFF
