As someone who lives in a tropical country where the temperatures easily soar up to over 40°c, I feel like short sleeved camp collar shirts are a practical and elegant choice, far more so than your typical t-shirts or polos.

I once had a raw linen blazer made for me in almost the same color blue as yours. I added pearl buttons. The trouser colors that you show here are almost identical to mine. Very versatile colors that work with navy blazers and tweed. Thank you for this discussion. In the Chicago area, we just put away our linen trousers. It is now fall here and we are beginning to see and feel it.

Color pairing is fun, but it’s become a sort of headache and time waster for me because with an expansive wardrobe sometimes comes choice paralysis. For this reason I’ve been leaning towards monochromatic shades.

This is by far my favourite video, I don’t know much about contrast colours when it comes to suits. I have always believed that suits colours don’t always have to match.

Loved this summer wardrobe overview, thoroughly enjoyed it. Now, looking at classic dress as a whole, it's way harder in my opinion to dress at night and from my understanding, men used to wear tuxedos more frequently than today, it was the go-to outfit back then. So, how should a man approach classic dress for a night out, when black tie is unwarranted and too formal for the occasion?

Thank you Riccardo! Due to the more casual culture, at night a dark navy sport coat would be perfect. Paired with off white trousers or of you prefer darker trousers, I find that burgundy works. In the summer, a cream linen jacket also works. Paired with Navy slacks or burgundy slacks. Dressing at night can be a challenge but there are ways to use sport coat/odd trousers combos to overcome the difficulty. Requires a bit of imagination. PROFF

which items would you suggest for a three season / year round wardrobe? this segment and the “winning combination” video appear to be on the extremes of seasons (which is helpful), however I would find it interesting to get your thoughts on fabrics and pairings that can work for Fall/Spring!

For plain solid jackets, Tan, Cream or Gray. For Patterned jackets, depends on the color composition. PROFF

GOOD CATCH Nick. Navy odd trousers are a good addition to your wardrobe but they are limiting. They go with gray, tan and cream jackets but not much else … PROFF
