October 2019. My last day out in Thailand. I was lucky enough to meet with people I know who are in Bangkok. I got to experience authentic Thai (fusion) food and drink, and sit down and have a talk with my Thai friends.
I wanna give a very special thanks to Pu Vithaya for showing me around a bit in Bangkok despite his busy schedule. He's one of the nicest, most incredible people you will meet in your lifetime. He generally helped me out throughout my whole trip and gave me really good advice and great stories. He even remembered my birthday and gave me a really nice gift! I aspire to be like him one day.
Thank you also to Gap who I've met through a friend of mine from the UK. She hasn't met me yet but she was nice enough to show me around Kaosan road and have a few drinks while she could have spent her time relaxing after a day of work.
I've had an incredible experience in Thailand. From the moment I landed until I flew back to the Philippines, Thai people had been HANDS DOWN the best part of this country (but of course, I love their culture as well). I can definitely say, from the people I've met there, Thais are waaaay more hospitable than Filipinos. I'll definitely go back and visit when I can!
