Hey Mark, I'm currently in bangkok and for breakfast I went to the first restaurant you went to in this video and it was delicious oh my goodness I was sad when the meat was done but was fully satisfied and filled to the brim. I showed them your video and then when I finished eating, I took a picture with the lady that prepares the dishes. It was an awesome experience eating beef hot pot for breakfast. Thanks for the suggestion on the restaurant. They were all joyful and full of smiles 😁. Top notch food and service.

I have watched many Mark Wiens Bangkok food videos. The difference between his videos and other food bloggers' videos is his infectious cheerfulness introducing and eating the food. Plus his friendly interaction with the hawkers/food vendors in their native Thai. It makes the videos lighthearted and enjoyable to watch.

I'm from Ecuador, South America! I'm planning to travel around Thailand in February and thanks to your video I already plan what to eat in Bangkok! My girlfriend is from Thailand and NOTHING beats Thai food! I'm in love with Thai culture, thai food, the cities, desserts! Thanks for your content and you really your own Netflix show!

In my opinion the fact that Greg is filming and editing this is amazing, it changes the style of your video, changing the format from a food and travel diary to a tv food program. It would be amazing if you still keep this style of filming (greg holding the camera) And you holding the camera (vlog style) Nb: you can really see that Greg knows how to work the camera, how to frame the shot, how to capture the moment

I love Thai Street food. Nothing beats Thai food!! I once took a trip at the last minute for 3 days from the US just to eat eat eat. and I didn't gain a pound. The most simple dish of Noodle Soup is still outstanding. It was well worth the jet lag and plane ticket. For me, Phet mak mak just hides the flavor so, Phet nit noi works for me.

Can't wait to return to Bangkok and try these incredible meals. Thank you for letting us participate in your fantastic food tours all over the world and especially in Thailand. Pad Krapau and stinky beans are also on top of my favorite list of thai food. Nothing can beat a good soup as breakfast in Thailand.

I shared this one on Facebook. The foods you are eating I can still taste 45 years later. I was stationed in Thailand in the USAF. I turned 21 in Bangkok in 1974. The sights were all great but the food. The food was great.

Also the Holy basil stir fry was the first Thai meal I had when I got in country in 1973. I admit the peppers almost killed me but after a year I got used to them and to this day I always have some kind of heat with my meals.

There are times when I fight back tears when I see your videos. I think it's a mixture of empathy, wanderlust and memories. My girlfriend thinks I'm in love with Mark Wiens 😂 I miss Bangkok like crazy...

I love watching Mark eat, he truly loves the food there. His expressions are wonderful to watch.

Calling a Thai dish your favorite must be like admitting you have a favorite child. All the food I have seen him feature from that beautiful country looks incredible.

He’s got such a tolerant wife. There is no way I’m just gonna sit there and wait for the hubby to sample and talk about each dish (meanwhile food’s getting cold too) 😂. It also looks like she goes to some places ahead of Mark and the crew to get a table ready and order the foods-very supportive. Thank you Ying.

Your third stop at the Isaan stall makes me so happy. One could say "hey that's several dishes" but man, that's just how you do it! Larb and som tam together, an absolute must have.

His eyes are so expressive! A joy to watch!

If Mark calls it spicy, its a no go for the rest of us.

I flew to Salvador Brazil to eat the same itinerary as Mark; and NOW I just booked my flight out to Bangkok to eat at these 5 spots. Thanks again Mark! Sharing food is also sharing culture, history and so much more. The food alone is enough reason to visit Thailand...

Just came back from Bangkok 9 hours ago. What a lovely food heaven in Bangkok. Went to Chatbuchak weekends market and having lunch with tomyam big seafood + grilled beef meat + rice. What a nice. Then having a dinner with pad thai with shrimp river + tomyam. Situated in street food just in front of Platinum Mall. Just to say that Bangkok is awesome. Thanks Bro Mark Wiens for such a good info about Bangkok. :)

I just returned from Thailand, was in ChiangMai most of the days.. Luckily I could eat everything in Mark's list except Jungle curry.. been to the train night market at Ratchada.. Thailand is the best place for Foodies.. and people are very nice.. @Mark Wiens

There's a video that Mark has where he goes down this one little Street alley with all the food carts which I found was a really much better spot. this one restaurant at the most amazing tom yum soup. Let me see if I could dig up the name. I'm currently in Vietnam right now

Pe Aor on Phetchuburi road.. my god was the tom yum soup awesome. Small bowl but I found myself literally drink the soup till it was all gone.. there's quite a few options on this road but you have to try the soup here. The small durian that they sell is really sweet as well if you're into that.. I find they're better than the big ones..

I ate Thai food for the 1st time & there was a soup that was SUPER HOT( I LOVE hot stuff) it was so good but 2 hrs later I was in the b. room & it literally felt like I was having contractions every 5 mins. I was profusely sweating and in tears for an 1hr. But it was WORTH it! Lol That soup was delicious!!
