Summary:
• Deer was the most commonly detected prey item in scats, followed by cattle
• Scats containing cattle were commonly found near homesteads and the bison enclosure, whereas scats containing deer were commonly found further from homesteads and the bison enclosure
• Coyotes focused most of their hunting efforts on ground squirrels and were commonly near cattle when they did so
• Cattle frequently chased coyotes when in proximity to cattle
