It’s not for the remembrance of any people. It is an honour for her given by the government of India for her contributions towards Indian music. It is not a bad thing to feel proud of getting awards. Rather some have head weight after getting awards, she is not a kind of that person. If at all the awards have no value then why do they give it every year and particularly this every Padma award winner was more worthy.

The older condenser microphones do not pick up the breath sound while the newer ones do. Chitra chechi’s tonal quality is much better than the singers before her. Her seniors use to screech and hoot while hitting the high notes making some of the songs in 80s unbearable.
