1) Thoroughly enjoyed your mini-bio, Evan. 👍 2) Have also been enjoying your 3-part Evolution of Colt Handguns series. 👍 3) Enjoy this channel in general, no matter what the subject matter and featured artifacts may be! 👍

Thanks Noah. I appreciate your support. I'm working on a few firearms for the next series including a rifle that probably saw service with the Confederacy in the Civil War.

Thank you for the education. I carry a classic 1911A1 everyday and everywhere I go. No thrills, I carry the original Military version like my Grandfather carried in WW2. I’d love to get my hands on the 1909 revolver in 45 Colt. 45 auto and 45 Colt are my favorite cartridges.

Sad how Colt was the bomb, back then. Now it's S&W, Rugar, mostly for handguns. Not many Colts around.

Hi Evan. Nowadays 9 mm pistols rule, but the 45 ACP is still alive. I wonder if someday the 44 special and 45 Colt DA revolvers will come back to the limelight. Today I’ve hold in my hands a 9 mm 1911 and considered buying it, for a few instants.. but no…definitely 45 ACP is my caliber. Happy trails to You.

HI back, I have owned .44 Magnum revolvers and still have a Marlin 1894 in that caliber. I have 1911s in 9mm (Ruger Commander sized lightweight) , .38 Super (Commanders), and a couple in .45 ACP. I like them all.
