Thanks for the content. Car seems a little laggy for that turbo. I ran a hybrid Garrett 3382r that hit 300wtq way before 4500rpms on a GSC S2. My old EFR 8474 which was much bigger also spooled 300wtq way before 4500rpms.

Always a big fan chemist. All I can say is my car it's a challenge with the GSC S3 cams to get it to idle. It's chopping like crazy, it's idling at 1100rpm. My original set up before was 544hp 387tq my turbo wasn't so big but I was warned about going over 400tq on stock head.🇯🇲

You might need to tweak the throttle air flow table a bit. Start with adding maybe 5 percent at the lower values where it idles. A little change is alot on this table. Sometimes you have to touch it when you have big cams.

The airflow table helps, also a smooth transition in idle timing helps as well.

Can you spin 8k on this setup? Also 540hp on 26psi sounds kind of low, usually it's 28/29 for that kind of power

How u getting almost 400 tq on pump running only 25 psi? From Ur graph looks like turbo starts losing power after 6600.I have same setup.on my Mr Built head and bottom end running 26psi barely hitting 300 ish tq.

You said that he was producing a lot of torque which is limiting the horsepower potential (presumably to not hurt the stock bottom end). Can you explain that? Can’t you control/reduce torque in the mid range through lower boost (and timing) and then ramp up boost above 5500 rpm or so to make the HP? Or was this car running an MBC?

Nothing helped , this is at 3° peak torque timing and 24-26psi and low mivec. It's just his setup , which would be awesome with a built block.

@@lcameeno1 The 7164S is 59.8mm. Make sure you're looking at getting the S with the X3C cover. The 6564S is comparable to 3576R but you have to also consider that thanks to the UHF Turbine Wheel the spool and flow efficiency is better despite the compressor wheel inlet being slightly bigger. So if you wanted something similar to GTX3576R both the 6564S and 7164S will do the job but the 7164S will have more power and probably spool like the 3576R.

@@JPTinioMedia ahhh gotcha yeah I was really interested in the new UHF and X3C technology. I'm on a 3576R gen 2 currently but I want to spool a little faster with a bit better torque for when I build my block. So I was looking at the 6564S because it's only 1mm smaller but I may also look into that one now aswell!
