Got one coming tomorrow,looking forward to upping my 4k settings.

We've been hearing "for the first time ever we can play 4k" since the gtx 780 ti launched.

DOOM is such an awesomely made game that fps...Have a couple of EVGA SC DC 780's-brilliant cards - but lovin the new shroud and backplate.

Yeah, looks like a good stuff with normal size instead of half-meter box

This card is so beautifull and the best part is that you can choose the color if you dont like just steel gray.

you till happy whet the 1080 Ti SC ??

I have this card and i just run it at stock. Had the same problem when overclocking and had random weird crashes. Stock is about 1950Mhz and is a monster. Maybe i should have gotten the Asus Strix but dang this card looks good in my phanteks enthoo evolve.

Does the sc2 have 2x8pin connectors or the weird 1x6 1x8?...im wondering cuz I have custom cables for my 1070 ftw and looking to upgrade to a 1080ti but don't know if I'll have to order a 6 pin

Would like to know if it has zero fans at idle. These videos never cover that. Obviously, people care about how it preforms while gaming but we use our computers for other things too so I want to know if this thing is silent when working on non-graphical related programs (ie spreadsheet). It's a given it's going to make noise while gaming but how it acts non gaming is a piece of the puzzle as well. Thanks

I run my SC2 at stock settings and the temp maxes out at 73C in Doom 2016 vulkan max settings at 1440p. How in the world did your max out at 64C? You running it open air?

same here with the ftw3, I guess he have it on a open air bench test and set the fan curve to aggressive in the XOC software

My SC2 1080 Ti runs with a +100/+550 OC but tops at 79C (Usually on average no more than 76C). How did yours run in the mid 60s?

Same with my gtx 1080ti ftw3, around 74-75c under load at default fan curve, with custom fan curve I get around 68c under full load, with open case, it around 59c under load with custom fan curve

The ICX on the SC2 is awesome. Fan curve adjustments and little clock work, these cards are hard to beat for just about anything we want to use them for, rendering, gaming, mining, streaming with shield etc. they don't throttle until like 86c, but a decent fan curve will never see those temps. I have seven of them and they love to work and play.

if you set those values, do you have to increase voltage too? Using the EVGA software right

use aggressive fan curve and always keep precision X1 software open always

Founders Edition 77c at load? no freaking way.

got 1 of these cards its a propper beast even when under full load its silence , got this at bargin price of £650 ,the styrx was another £120 on top of this , my only gripe was i could not find a waterblock to fit it :( i original plan was to add this to my 6700K @4.8ghz on a custom water loop and take the GTX1080 and add it to my backup PC Ryzen 1700 but now plans are changed , i now have Ryzen 1700 as my main everyday PC with this card.. I Love it , seems faster for everyday use than the I7-6700K and gaming around about the same as the 6700K+1080 @1440p

Haven't finished video yet, but did you say that the RGBs are for that side logo? Or is it just white?

Matt Bracciano the thermaltake riing has higher static pressure unless you get the corsair sp fans

Absolutely not, even with every other component pulling the least power. 550W is the bare minimum, I would reccomend a 650W to be safe.

Evga says minimum 600 but it only draws 250 so you could use a 450, 400 might be pushing it a bit.

Im starting to question the 1080ti as the beast everyone keeps saying. If you want 144 fps you cant run at ultra settings. I find this unacceptable
