My wife has a Pilot Touring. If the battery in the key fob is too weak to start the car, but not totally dead I think if you hold it right next to the start button and push the start button the car will fire up. Also, I think you get a warning on the display if the key fob battery is getting bad. Replacement battery is a 3 volt Energizer CR 2032.

Nice video... specially that windows rolling down part . Thanks to all commentators also... as we learn from each other as well. Another thing to observe when we hold any key on the fob, then it gives a little red light blink on the top of the remote. That means need not to keep the button press anymore as the command has already been sent for action.

You can also roll the windows up or down by using the key... Turn it right or left twice on the door to do that

My pilot doesn’t need to have the ac on for it to come on when u auto start it. It has sensors so if the car is to hot, the ac comes on, if the car is to cold, the heater comes on.

You can change the door setting to have all doors unlocked when the driver door is unlocked. It's not necessarily to unlocked from inside.

Yeah, too bad you can't use remote to roll them up.

You didn’t mention if u need to replace the battery in the remote. U use that key u pull out, put in the middle of the key fob and twist to break halves apart to replace the battery.

How do you turn the beeping sound off when opening the trunk? It is very loud.

I believe if you take the key out of the FOB and insert into the driver’s door and then turn counter clockwise it will raise the windows back up.

I don't think that would be possible once the engine has started.

A different question- once the car is on, I can’t get out and open the back doors or the trunk. They’re all locked. Even when I hit unlock. What am I doing wrong?

I have a question. If I don't want to use the autostart button on the remote and use the start button inside the car instead, then: Will my car engine start even if my key is in the backseat, or do I need to have the key RIGHT NEXT to the start button to start the engine?

As long as your car can detect your key then you should be able to push the start on your car.

Seattle right now is hot in the afternoon evening so I have my AC on, but in the morning its cold and would like to have it turn on with heat. or vice versa.

Depending on the make/model/year, your remote starter can cool or heat the cabin. In some cases, starting your vehicle should start your air conditioning or heater, assuming the temperature in the car is below the set temperature. Some Honda remote starters will automatically activate the HVAC system to bring the temperature up or down to 72 degrees. he Honda will run for ten minutes. If you wish, you can extend it another ten minutes.

Did you disable the auto lock on your Honda Pilot? Your door shouldn't be lock when your key FOB is inside your car.
