Thank ya for what you do Tommy, I gave ya a shout out once in a B car open race as we finished it up. And have told a multitude of IRacing members about your library of knowledge. As I look in our racing discord server, this video was posted in our general chat by another league driver. I consider your info on all things IRacing Factz! I have yet to find a subject that you've covered that isn't 100% correct and the way to roll as far as the best outcome and the easiest way to get there in the end. Thank you, Sir, My Hat's off to ya! signed, Collin Wethington

Thank you so much Tommy! I recently started a driver career for my channel and had to adjust the setup for my next race, I’m using this career to start learning on how to make setups and this update caught way of it 😂 This has helped my understanding and i appreciate the help massively!

Hey man thanks for the info, I had some of this figured out but some of the info you pointed out I had not realized yet so this is so very helpful :)

Great video. Do SSR have a Motec workbook available for the public?

Got a random question if anyone has an answer thank you. When I adjust crowd detail the crowd visually looks the same whether in high or low detail even after a restart of PC or game. Is there something I'm missing? Thank you

Haven't finished video yet but at 18:00 you mention adding to the notes. HOW DO I EDIT THE NOTES? So many times i want to add stuff to remember or it's just blank. Please tell me how to edit that section!

just click in the notes box and you can edit them when you have it loaded in sim.

@@huskyasfk i feel like such an idiot, either that or slightly colorblind. The box to enter text is the same color as the background and unless you click directly on it, it doesn't select it. It's nearly impossible to see. Thanks!

did you notice anything with arb btw?

yes, you can definitely run a softer front arb, but the front springs and spring angle do determine how soft. I have found a 2" bar to be about as soft as I wanna go, but I have not tested all scenarios yet.

Why are they so popular when they are so boring to drive.

hey...after 6 intensive years of ACC, I started iRacing (oval tracks only) I'm very happy that I found your channel, with this one video I understood more about the setup than what I read and watched in the last week. You are iRacing's "Nils Naujoks" (I don't think you know him, but that's a big compliment, believe me...he's the biggest professor in the ACC, seriously)…🫵
