    Also, Liam Neeson must have gone to the bathroom at least once or twice and they didn't show that either. All kidding aside, movies skip over things that would happen in real life because they are not deemed relevant to the plot. They are not plot holes when they don't actually change anything in the plot.

  • @KingQwertzlbrmpf

    @KingQwertzlbrmpf

    No. It depends on wether the parents have split custody or one parent has full custody. If they have split custody then yes, both parents have to sign on important issues rergarding their child. If one parent has full custody though then the other parent has no say whatsoever without involving the family court. And in the US they have the "tender years doctrine" that gives full custody to the mother in almost all cases. Pretty much the only case in which the father gets any custody of his child in divorce proceedings is either if the mother agrees to that or if the father can show definitive, undeniable proof that the mother is something like a drug addict, involved in organized crime or activly abusing the child. And even if he can do that, more often than not the mother still gets full custody simply because she is the mother.

  • @MsBianca78

    @MsBianca78

    *^ you’re very misinformed. In many states, 50/50 custody is the default. And you’re confusing physical custody with legal custody. Most times, even when a custodial parent has primary or sole physical custody, legal custody (the ability to make decisions about the child) is joint.

  • @KingQwertzlbrmpf

    @KingQwertzlbrmpf

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@MsBianca78 You are half right. In most states 50/50 custody is the default for MARRIED parents breaking up. However, if the parents were not married when the child was born most states give full custody to the mother as a default. Furthermore, even in states where 50/50 custody is the default, it's usually a trivial matter for the mother to gain full custody due to simple court bias. Also, i know the difference between legal custody and physical custody and i'm most certainly not confusing the two. Yes, even when one parent has full physical custody, legal custody may still be split. However, the much more common case is that one parent (usually the mother) has full legal and physical custody and the other parent only gets visitations.

Same thing the other way around. I'm American. For me to take my son to the US, I have to have a notarized paper with her, and mine signature approving trip. This was before we even got married that I was informed of this in making plans for a trip back home with our son.

    For the extradition sin, Leo DiCaprio in Inception explains that extradition between the united states and france is a bureaucratic nightmare, so maybe that's how he got back with no problems.

    What about in "Catch me if you can" when he was locked up for mass forgery committed in France and escapes when the FBI came to extradite him. The French government practically gave Leo in a silver platter back to America in a rather quick manner even when he had not been properly indicted for the crimes he committed in France, which were pretty serious charges.

    @Daniel Gosse not everything in a movie is based on reality; the fact that someone uses a movie like they would an official document is a mega lul. and Inception is not a true story.....or is it......

    Liam doesn't make movie sins, he just re-negates reality. He's Zeus God of Mount Olympus, Dark man, King of Narnia The leader of the A-Team, and the Jedi who trained Obi Won not to mention the ninja that trained Batman.
