I ironically watched this on an airplane, and I was confused when it said “some parts have been edited” until I realized there is a scene with minions almost crashing a plane like 50 times and they probably don’t want to show that to people while they themselves are in an airplane

@@cameramike2515 I'd say that's precisely why I enjoyed it. It was a wacky movie that knew that it was a wacky movie. Some films try too hard, this one didn't. I was thinking of a completely different movie, but this still fits the bill.

The fact that he didn't mention that the lack of genitals on the Minion in the airplane toilet proves a Film Theory episode from years and years ago is horrific.

My dad never laughs hard at ANY movie EVER. But somehow through sheer animation thought, they mad my dad laugh so hard he almost died. He is a pilot and the only time he laughed hard was the airplane scene. every other time it was more of a "Heh"

I watched this movie with my son - I was in tears during the airplane scene, and I’m not even sure why. When the plane just levitated out of the blue, I lost it. The rest of the movie after that was not even close to being very funny, which was a let down. First half had some great gags.

I still remember the first minion movie's backstory and the implications that the minions served in Napoleon's Army, which would make them very war-crimey

Can we sin this movie for being a sequel but having nothing to do with the first. This film says gru met the minions at his house but he met them in England in the first and in this film it says gru met dr nafario at a record store but in the first he met him at villan con. Also minus a lunchbox this film dose not pick up after or even reference the first it’s like the people who made this never saw the first

First Minions movie actually made more sense than this one because Gru stole the crown and did a despicable thing which led the minions to follow him

I am pretty much convinced that the CinemaSins team secretly love all the Despicable me franchise and do weekly parties just to watch all the movies again, while eating popcorn and giggling like little children.

While you do have a point of no one questioning where Gru's parents were, I feel like kids wandering around on their own was a common thing in the 70's. And Gru's mom would not have gone with him anywhere regardless since she straight up does not like him which we have seen NUMEROUS times in the other movies

I watched the Japanese dub (studied the language for 10 years and still going), it was so good.

Gru and the Minions are going for a walk. A very enthusiastic walk.

The so-called “death” of wild knuckles actually made me cry, and then when I saw him behind the tree, I thought it was a ghost but when we went in the car and saw him, I cannot even explain my happiness.

2:37 A counter to that is that People won't work with someone they KNOW will stab them in the Back. She know has shown to her colleagues that they can't trust her so they will look to get rid of her if they are smart.

It's what the fans keep asking for apparently and are always sorely disappointed at the result (so the producers keep doing it to keep disappointing us). It also takes away the mystery. No one likes being mystefied anymore.

I just got around to watching the Netflix Boeing documentary and from that I can say, yes, they had that cartoonish amount of leg room in the 70s

I, CANNOT believe he didn't mention the part where we see Victor's picture and wondered how him and Gru looked so similar inn age when in the first movie Victor was shown to be s lot younger than Gru. Apparently what happened was that Illumination SERIOUSLY forgot that they made Victor much younger than Gru which is why they're similar in age in this movie PLUS 20 SINS

Fun fact: according to Minions & More, an illumination short film compilation on Netflix, Illumination is an anagram for Lily Mountain

Well for April Fool’s day one year, he sinned Troll (not the Dreamworks one) and decided to be positive and remove sins for everything that he liked. Towards the end the counter was at negative 10,000 sins, but then something happened making him so mad that he took back every negative sin, bringing the counter to 0. But then again, it was a prank video.

I love that this franchise has been going long enough to incorporate their own memes back into the movies

I saw this movie in theaters with my friend (both 18) and it was just as funny as an adult for just about every reason you sinned. Not because it was a coherent story, just because "what the fuck is happening and how does a child follow this story?"

The end of the movie is off the rails - to the point it feels like a different team of writers took over. The 3 minions doing kung fu training for about 20 minutes of the movie’s run time just felt like the writers had no idea what to do after the first half of the movie. The first half had good pacing, good story telling, setting up a plot. The second half was a fever dream. And for some reason, the airplane scene had me in stitches. Been watching a lot of aviation channels on youtube, and that whole scene, including the vtol, just had me in tears.
