Everything Wrong With Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 21 minutes or Less

Фильм және анимация

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa is the second film in the animated zoo animal franchise, but honestly they all kind of run together. And they all have lots of sins.
Next week: comedy sins & space sins.
Remember, no movie is without sin. Which movie's sins should we count next?

Time to sin! 1:22 Jeremy makes a pop culture reference that isn't a sin of the movie cliché 1:59 questioning the logic of a cartoon movie 2:30 this is to show how far he's come. He was a cub when he came to the zoo, so now he's so domesticated to where he's all but forgotten his past in Africa. All his hunting instincts are gone. 3:04 this laugh 3:53 sinning characterization. Private is established to be the dumbest of the penguins, so it's completely in character for him to get it wrong. 5:55 Lies! Lies I tell you! EVERYBODY loved this woman! 6:46 That's exactly WHY that reference is here! If you keep watching, it shows the African animals are clearly offended by this! 7:05 it's called the dazzle effect. It creates the optical illusion that there's more zebras in a herd than there actually are, so as to warn predators away. 9:30 Jeremy has never heard of cave paintings 12:23 sinning the scene where Alex establishes it is his STAGE NAME 13:19 That is not Marty! Marty planted this zebra here to test if the others could tell it wasn't him! 15:43 Hippos are polygamous, and will mate with multiple partners in their lifetime. 16:12 Jeremy sins the move for something it explains later cliché. We find out at the end he was able to figure out it was Marty by the bite mark he still has. He as able to see the bite mark BECAUSE Marty was turned around. 16:33 Makunga is going do this right now, and Alex's word means nothing because he's still banished. 17:18 Jeremy answers himself cliché 17:28 Every liar has to tell some semblance of the truth in order to be believable. If there was any chance Makunga was right about Alex, a lion that can't survive in the wilderness, going off to fix the problem, Zuba literally cannot afford to take a chance that Makunga is lying. 18:44 wrong. That rock is inside a volcano that is dangerously close to erupting. Rock crumbles when exposed to heat long enough, and volcanic heat like this would have it crumble from ANYTHING 20:10 misuse of deux ex machina

The thrust levers for the engines are numbered on the flight deck from left to right (as you would read Latin lettered script), and so the engines are also numbered accordingly. Leftmost engine is no. 1, and you make your way to the right with the numbers for the engines.

7:03 I think they sound all the same because they're playing on the fact that all the Zebras are identical and you cant tell any of them apart, the whole point later in the movie Alex could tell apart who Marty was despite looking identical, if they had different voices you'd be able to tell them apart, whereas the other animals do have slightly different appearances hence different voices because they're not meant to be identical
